Had the Cuban Inspired Combo with greatest side ever. Basically a Cubano sandwich with thick bacon, Lol, Midwestern Cubano. The Greatest Side Ever was a bowl of black beans, rice, cilantro and goodness. This is not a place to miss.

You enter Frita Batidos almost blinded by the clean, crisp white and light silver palette they chose for the entire restaurant. You almost feel nervous that if you spill anything on your shirt you'll be kicked out! :-) The place is decorated simple with large picnic-table-style seating. There is also a counter in the front of the restaurant with a... More

Took my daughter and boyfriend to lunch there this week. Three sandwiches, bill $38, a bit high but not unexpected in Ann Arbor. Food was very Cuban, innovative, well prepared and service was excellent as well. This is a very informal picnic table affair, seating with others, very busy at lunch but with a good atmosphere. My own memories are... More

I ate at this place at least once a week and sometimes twice a week when I live in Ann Arbor up to October 2013. I have tried many hamburgers all over the world but this hamburger with the sweet chilly mayo is unchallenged. Anybody visiting Ann Arbor has to try out this place! Forget Zingersmanns and all these other... More

This is a great restaurant. You stand at the counter to order, then it is brought to you wherever you are sitting. The service at this restaurant was top notch! This was our first visit and they took time to explain everything to us. Their fritas were excellent with some great toppings! We were looking forward to trying their sangria.... More

Had the Beef Frita with all the possible toppings along with cilantro fries and Cafe Con Leche coffee. The Frita was very tasty. It was impossible to eat it without a fork a knife due to all the toppings I added. The fries were very flavorful but definitely greasy. For me grease is a good thing, but I know other... More

We got a black bean frita and "the best snack ever". Both were tasty but a little too greasy. The best snack ever was very flavorful but once again very greasy and cheesy. The atmosphere was very different and laid back. I liked it. The menu was very simple too. Not sure if we would go back though.

Frita Batidos is a casual dining place where food is serious business! Loved the clean look of the place and the Cuban inspired food was good too. Had never eaten Cuban food before so it was different. The Beef Frita was melt in your mouth, and the shoestring fries on top were the best I've ever had. A refreshing change... More

We were in Ann Arbor to stock up from Trader Joe's and noticed good reviews for this Cuban themed place. It was crowded far past the lunch hour, but the wait in line was well worth it. Staff was helpful and the chorizo fritz with avocado sauce was delicious, albeit messy. The buns upon which the fritas are served are... More
