Interesting beer options! Great kids meal choices!

Sour taste to the jolly pumpkin beers. Interesting. Wouldn't want it all the time but always fun to try new things. Kids meals were very good and well priced. I had the truffle pizza. Good but definitely big enough to share. Liked the special sourdough crust. Dined at sidewalk tables... read more

On a road trip with my husband, we were looking for a local experience that was not extravagant or too fancy. A coffee shop employee suggested the Jolly Pumpkin and we are so glad she did. She recommended the artichoke sandwich but we opted for other menu items. All delicious and freshly made. Their open air brewed draft beers are... More

We stopped in for a beer, not food, so this review only speaks to the beer. We sat at the bar, and the friendly bartender let us sample the large assortment of beers on tap. We both chose the chocolate stout, which was very good. The atmosphere is very comfortable, the service friendly.

I had the steak dish, can't remember what it was called, but I was VERY impressed with the delicious complexity of the sauce, season and tenderness. Thoroughly enjoyed the North Peak Siren Amber Ale, too. Great selection of brews and nice menu. Casual atmosphere but nice, local, Main Street faire. Enjoy!

If you've read other reviews I've written, then you know that an eatery earns high marks when I, the vegetarian, does not have to add the phrase "but without" in order to make the dish meatless; The Jolly Pumpkin has earned high marks! A nice pub atmosphere, and small rooftop patio, make this place a must visit the next time... More

As a very picky beer drinker I appreciate this place so much. I love their sour beer options - so tasty and unique. We had an amazing flight of beer and an equally amazing pizza with potatoes, bacon, mozzarella, onions, and chives! I can't wait to come back here. Service was great as well.

This was our second attempt after two years. On our last attempt we were disappointed with the hoppy beer and limited selections, but now a dear friend works there, so we decided to give JP a fresh, open minded visit. Besides, there have been so many rave reviews about the beer since then. My husband enjoyed his Rambler beer, and... More

It was a cool and windy March afternoon in downtown Ann Arbor. We wanted to try the Jolly Pumpkin because of all the positive tripadvisor reviews. Mostly tripadvisor is spot on, unfortunately this time not so much so. The food was mediocre at best. It is also very pricey. Expect to pay $25 plus for a luncheon salad or soup... More

This place is great because of its no-nonsense atmosphere. The beers are good, better with the Gardener's Snack Board. Truffled French fries are yummy, as well as the 'Truffle' pizza. It really is very good. I like it that you can stay for hours, just chatting with your friends and there is no rush. Just relaxed!

Jolly Pumpkin is one of my favorite go-to places for lunch or dinner and I go pretty often. They have a Sunday brunch as well. The food is well worth a visit - everything I have tried is at worst good and at best delicious. Even though my favorite item on the menu is the Pumpkin Whoopie Pies with Ginger... More
