One of my favorite restaurants in Ann Arbor

Palm Palace is a mainstay for Middle Eastern food in the Ann Arbor area. Everything I have ever had here was great. The service is always very good and I never had to wait for a table. The prices are moderate but a good value for the amount of food you get. They also have a fresh juice bar.

You must start with the mint lemonade slushy...sip throughout dinner to cleanse your palate. Next order hummus with warm out of the oven homemade pita bread. We split the lamb shish kabob with grilled veggies and Greek salad...honestly we didn't have room for even a smidgen of Bach -lava or a nice cup of coffee so you must order accordingly... More

The food and service is always great. I love taking family there especially when i have a large group. The food is always made right and the servings are generous. Hoda is our favorite server. She has been there for years and does an excellent job. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Good place for business lunches also.

We arrived at 5pm on a Saturday evening and were seated in the entry area. Customers were a never ending stream behind us and the restaurant filled quickly. The humus platter with vegetables was a wonderful start with a mint lemonade cooler and the never ending warm pita were very tasty. I found my lamb kafta a bit dry but... More

I had a hotel just up the street and walked over for dinner. Funky Middle Eastern decor was fun, and the hostess and staff very welcoming. I had the hummus appetizer which was HUGE! Nice bread was delivered with a garlic butter spread that was delicious. I should have stopped ordering right there. Foolishly, I ordered the Lamb Shish Kabob... More

I have dined at this restaurant more than once. We went just after moving to the Ann Arbor area and multiple times since. The menu is fantastic and serves up a wide variety of dishes which are generous in portion and are often brought home. I so enjoy the taste of lamb and the shwarma is delicious. Lamb isn't served... I've been here about a dozen times. The food is always delicious. I've had a couple of mediocre servers and some excellent ones. The decor is nice. Overall I think it's a good value.

We were so impressed with the food at this restaurant. The pitas are made as you eat and served hot, the fattoush salad had an amazingly delicious dressing and the various sandwiches were large and yummy. There were many selections and the chicken with veggies and rice pillaf rolled in the delicious thin flatbread was outstanding. The hummos and meat... More

We had a wonderful lunch at Palm Palace. The decor is loads of fun...very interesting....it would be great to go back with a group of friends and have one of their group meals. Our table was near the fire-fueled oven they bake the pitas in...was fun to watch and even more fun to eat the big bowl of fresh pitas... More

I visited a couple of weeks ago with a group of friends. The service was outstanding. The waiter was extremely attentive. The food was somewhat disappointed. I had a combo platter with chicken and beef. Both of the meats were dry and cool. It was if they had been sitting around for some time before being served. The portions were... More
