Vinology is a favorite of ours. The menu offers a lot of delicious choices and we've always been happy with our selections. The wine list has lots of interesting options. Service has always been great as well - quick and attentive. We normally go with the 1/2 size entrees, which is a nice option to have.

We have driven past this restaurant on our way into downtown Ann Arbor countless times. Recently, our friends chose Vinology to meet w/ a small group for dinner. Before I had finished my dinner, I had booked this restaurant for our dinner club the following weekend (after canceling an existing reservation at another restaurant) - it was that good! Small,... I loved just looking around at the exposed brick and tin ceiling. The family has taken over operations and is doing a great job in all aspects. We dined twice during our recent visit to Ann Arbor. Although it was a limited edition beer, and may not be available any longer, the Unibroue Terrible was a highlight of the drinks.... More

We stopped mid-afternoon for some drinks and a light snack. They were doing happy hour pricing on glasses of wine which allowed us to sample a variety of wines. We ordered some small plates, one which included the corn fungus tacos which I haven't had since I was in Mexico City. They were pretty amazing considering we were a long... More

These are the most adventurous chefs in Ann Arbor by a long shot. Not every dish is the bee's knees, but most of them have symphonic flavor compositions. That being said, this is probably the only restaurant in A2 where knowing a little bit about food and preparation techniques is important to fully appreciate the experience. Hopefully they start experimenting... More

My partner and I had an excellent meal at Vinololgy last Saturday night. My pork dish was interesting with good depth of flavor, without being overpowering. My partner had the vegetarian cannelloni which was beautifully presented with a variety of sauces. I would recommend this local haunt highly.

The menu is promising and the atmosphere is great. People who know Ann Arbor very well recommended the place for our group meeting. The food is good, but from my personal view sometime they added too many ingredients to the courses. I experienced it with the good wedge salad that had smoked fish, pickled onion and many other ingredients. I... More

I was on business in Ann Arbor and a colleague suggested Vinology. We shared the Chicken Liver, and mini Lamb Kofta, and then both had the Chicken under Brick as a main course. Wonderful food, perfectly cooked and served, and a great 'buzz' in the restaurant. There was a cool looking bar (we ate in a booth), that I will... More

I convinced my husband to take a road trip up to Ann Arbor and go to VInology. This is our third time there, and we were not disappointed. For an appetizer we tried the chevre pop tarts with three types of fruit chutney on the side. They were amazing and the fruit chutneys were the perfect foil for the cheese.... More

Agree with previous reviewer. The food is definitely more impressive than the wine. With the name, I expected at least a separate wine menu. We tried the white wine flights- fun but disappointed that they were served a little too warm and the glasses used were too thick.Good pour though. My husband's zinfandel was served in a Reidel glass- more... More
