Quaint Resturant That Surprises!

A real find in Ann Arbor. Very good food, nice selection of wine, and a very knowlegable service staff. I was part of an evening group outing which included very yummy treats, and nice flights of wine. The presentation was excellant. Highly recommended.

We found this restaurant on trip advisor and decided to try it out on our visit to Ann Arbor. the prime rib ordered to be medium rare was very over done. It was returned and I reordered artesan cheeses (note the plural) and was given slices of the same cheese. The portions of the salads and desserts were meagre and... More

The title probably tells the tale. The tasting plates are varied and interesting - the fig, gorgonzola and onion flat bread is particularly good - and there is a good choice of wines either by the bottle, the glass or by the flight.

There are so many things to like. First of all the ease of reserving a table. The downtown location with the loft like feel, makes you feel cozy. The waitstaff attentive without being too smothering. The drinks were well prepared, plentiful and average in price. The menu is where it went all wrong. We were seated and reviewed our menu... More

Acceptable quality although dishes suffered from unnecessarily baroque and complex presentations. A bit too expensive for what you eat.

From the minute you walk in, you are greeted with a warm cozy feeling. The high ceilings, exposed brick, rustic yet contemporary furnishings make for a pleasant dining experience. The menu is fun, with have portions available. We started out with fried calamari, beets, and a cheese sampler. The sauce for the calamari is exceptionally wonderful. The salads were very... More

Had dinner with a group of five. Sat in one of the booths which I highly recommend. The atmosphere is warm with an inviting cosy, rustic feel. Menu is not overwhelming in the amount of choices but there are enough choices to pique ones interest. The slider appetizer, sautéed calamari appetizer and pizza appetizer were great. The scallop dish was... More

Great food, wine, and ambiance. My wife and I frequent Vinology regularly. The chef combines unique ingredients and challenges your mind to find that your taste buds say Brilliant! Great wines and good bar mixologists. I often take business guests here as well.

The flight and hors d'oeuvres is a wonderful, romantic start to an evening. The atmosphere is lovely. The food is great. Always something new and seasonal to try. LOVE it!
