Breakfast here is particularly, try the Wellness one, sets you up for the day. The cakes are also amazing, great strudle. They also do nice set lunches too for 20 Bolivanos, we stayed at the hostel and eaten here nearly every day and were never disappointed.

The service was a bit slow, but the staff were friendly. The papa rellanas are amazing - and only 7 BOB. There was a happy hour in the evening - the cuba libres were nice but not that strong. The club sandwich and the burger were very good and filling. The set menu (soup, main and pudding) was good value... More

It is just a wonderful place conveniently located in the center of town, if you are inside you can enjoy wonderful vintage furniture of german design, outside there is a great courtyard lovely in midday weather. I had the german sausage that was really good, everything is very laid back a bit too much maybe, the menu needs some updating... More

I like this hostel a lot! Free warm crispy breads for breakfast, fresh fruit juice and beverages of your choice. That was a great start to the days I was there. The colonial-style hostel is in a good location and good eats are within walking distance. The dorm room has only two washrooms/shower facilities but one of it is really... More

The happy hour drink selection is nice and a little different from some of the others around town. They have one night during the week (Tuesday?) that they have a local game favorite. A nice spot to sit with some friends and kill time.

The hostal is beautiful with 3 or 4 courtyards set amongst an old colonial house and run by very friendly and helpful staff. Can't fault it and it's a unique place compared with other hostels. Centrally located, wifi is good and the cafe part here is also very good. Well priced, too. Stay here if you're in sucre.

We moved into the hostal after moving from another not so nice one... The hostal itself is lovely! I only had the breakfast at kulturcafe that was included in the hostal but I heard many people say the larger breakfasts were delicious and the continental breakfast we had was great with lovely fresh breads every morning. They have awesome coffee... More

I am writing here to make sure that those backpackers out there, looking for a comfortable, clean and affordable place to stay in South America DO NOT miss the Kafe Berlin. IT is BY FAR the best place you'll find for your $$ in Sucré, and as far as we are concerned, the best place we have been into in... More

I went to Kulturcafe Berlin in january 2013 - in the first place just to by a beer in the beautiful courtyard and hang out in the cafe where they have salsa, games and cosy places for reading books and newspapers. But then the hostelowners just blew me away and with their great friendlyness and open arms convinced me and... More
