We dropped in for lunch and selected the menu of the week for 50Bs. This was really good value as there were four courses, all excellently presented and very tasty. Service was quick, friendly and efficient. Be careful to ignore the map directions given by TA! The Restraunt is opposite the Casa de Cultura in the first block from the... More

Nice place, good atmosphere, lovely staff. Price is average.. we payed around 40/50 euro with 2 persons, 3 course menu incl wine so for that price its... More

I had best green chicken curry in Bolivia at La Taverne. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Lovely atmosphere.

We had checked various restaurant options in Sucré and ended up in La Taverne. Food is really delicious, South American with some french influence, and way above the average fare you may get in Bolivia. La Taverne is just a block way from Plaza 25 mayo, on Aniceto Arce between Arenales and Ravelo - so don't be mislead by the... More

Very good food, good service, reservation recommended, relatively expensive compared to other restaurants, but every penny worth it. Its branch in Potosi is even better and somehow more reasonably priced!

We just ate here recently. It's been 3-4 years since the last time we ate here. Food was as good as I remember. It is definitely one of the more expensive places to eat in Sucre, but it is good food. Word for the wise though . . . if you are in any sort of hurry or eating later... More

For me, vegetarian, this is a great place to eat in Sucre. There's a entrance, soup, main plate and desert. The vegetarian fettuccine is great. And all of this for a low price. I recommend!!

Try the massaman curry! Amazing.... The chocolate mousse is to die for. The male waiter is very friendly 10/10. Thanks!

We went for lunch and the food was average. I ordered the chicken and it was a little dry, and they were a little stingy on the portions. Apparently the steak is really good so perhaps it was just my choice.

Five of us had a fabulous meal on a Sunday night. Despite my many efforts of booking a table my emails were not answered and the phone number was wrong but when we arrived at around 7:40 on a Sunday night they could only offer us an outside table. The put the heater on for us and we had a... More
