The restaurant is loacted close to the main plaza an thus easy to find. They offer a wide choice of various local and international food. The service is good and friendly the atmosphere in the restaurant is very beautiful. The price is ok, as long as you just arrived from Europe, but being used to the Bolivian price lvels it... More

good food and great service but prices could be a little closer to market prices. Has a beautiful little courtyard for lunch but watch out for the tables under the trees, a bird literally defecated on my girlfriends plate as she was eating it and they didn't do anything about it (this is the only reason i dont give it... Excellent almuerzo at reasonable price. Good food, good service and the patio is very pleasant at lunch time. We looked around for other options but ended up at La Posade quite a few times.

I have eaten at the La Posada restaurant on a number of occasions, the most recent in January, 2014. With a group of over 30, each ordering different items from the menu, the restaurant responded well and quickly with each order. I ordered the spaghetti carbonerra and it was excellent. The service was excellent as always and the attention to... More

The food is good but not fantastic. Service is decent but not overwhelming. The prices are higher than other similar restaurants that are better.

The food here was pretty good. I ordered the chicken cordon bleu, and my friends ordered raviolis. My entree was by heaps and bounds better. They had good Pisco sours and bread. Little pricey, might want to go elsewhere.

I love the decor and the setting of this restaurant. It's very peaceful and relaxing. The service is friendly and professional also. The food isn't the greatest value (for what else you can get in Sucre) as the set menu is a bit more expensive than other places. But, it is a really nice change from other cafes/restaurants in Sucre.... More

I had lunch and several breakfast meals in the restaurant, both were good and well attended. The best food are the traditional meals and the buffet salad bar. At times, the music played during lunch was more appropriate for a disco, rather than dining and the television at breakfast was too loud to relax and enjoy the food. Still, they... More

We had a really great meal and sampled all of the Bolivian wines on offer. The Tannat was our favourite wine and the tongue main course was delicious! Be careful with the sour mango desert though it was super SOUR! Very nice food though and a nice restaurant.

Some cheap synthesiser and panflute music from a poor audiosystem gave it and 80's-touch. Especially when hearing Adele crystal clear coming from the kitchen. The food was average and nothing to rave about. Maybe you'll have more luck than I had.
