I ate here. The staff was nice, and the food OK. I ordered a quesadia. In the US a quesadia is an item made with two tortillas and something like chess, meat, chicken, or anything between the two tortillas. The item I received was what looked like tacos to me. I asked, and the staff told me that I had... More

Although this place presents itself as a Mexican Restaurant, it would be a great surprise if the chef was indeed Mexican. The entrees offered are international style approximations to Mexican dishes. However, it has several other advantages: a.- Great locations: Although our party went to the restaurant located in 2-Norte Street, Margarita has at least other 3 locations, all of... More

This was my first Mexican restaurant in Chile so I don't know if it's typical of Mexican food in this country. Bland, though they did have hot sauce on the table. Only flour tortillas. My husband's chimichangas were not fried. They were just plain soft, flour tortillas with grilled meat fillings. I'm a vegetarian. The waiter said they could modify... More

Our Mexican friend picked this restaurant to celebrate her birthday! She was craving spicy food. She asked the waiter if the chef could make her some hot sauce and he prepared it perfectly! We all ordered fajitas beef and chicken and they were delicious and the portion was substantial. After a week in the area this restaurant was the favorite... More

Some of the best Mexican food I've ever tasted. Pleasant staff, too, and great location, just 2 minutes walk from the beach.

Not great. Keep on walking. First of all the piano player's music was hideous and ruined the ambiance of sitting outside and enjoying the night time air. The next less than desirable effect was a man that stopped by my table to beg. I had to make him go away with no help from the waiter. The chips and guacamole... More

We hit Margarita for an early (8pm) dinner and drinks. Our server was fantastic, trying her English and me trying my Spanish, it was very sweet. The food was average at best, not very flavoursome (pico de gallo had NO chilli in it at all and the meat was so bland), generous portions but really not worth the prices (around... More

Went for a late night snack and order a “picada” with olives, shrimps, chees, meet and chicken. Everything was cold and greasy and the chicken was not cooked properly. Unfortunately I saw it to late and my husband got sick. It was karaoke night and we had to listen to women that couldn’t sing.

I did not eat (only some chips & guacamole) at Margarita, but I thoroughly enjoyed their happy hour discounts and drinks. The 'margarita tradicional' was absolutely delicious. The prices are a bit spendy (for Chile) if consuming outside of the Happy Hour time frame, but the environment is nice and it's only a short walk from the beach.

A totally good experience we had my husband and I. We were received by a happy and friendly waiter, he suggested some nice and spicy dishes, large portions, delicious food and drinks (especially margaritas) Very good customer service, checking if everything was ok from time to time...and when we left they all said goodbye with a true smile, absolutely recommendable.
