Had a delicious lunch here. Ridiculously good service from Mario, who was a wealth of information about the menu and wines. We were the only English speakers in the restaurant. Never felt like a "mark," just felt well taken care of. Try the ceviche. You'll be happy. Very happy.

We were in Vina earlier this month for 3 nights. Our guide book listed this restaurant as a "place where the locals go". Not really true. Here is the deal: if you only want to communicate in English both with wait staff and menus this is for you. Once you are identified as American you are treated as a mark:... More

We ate here twice..a light lunch and then a full dinner. Food was excellent. Our waiter had 13 years in New York and was outstanding..friendly, outgoing and very attentive. Prices at upper end but excellent quality, great service and nice setting..try the clams with parmesano...or the cervice...all very very fresh ..extensive wine list with some very pricey items but a... This a must in Viña del Mar. We reserve for thirteen persons and found a very hospitable reception. Food was varied and very tasty, lots of choice and well prepared. Service was very animated and cordial without being invasive. Decor was simple and elegant. Salutaciones Mario y Sebastian From satisfied quebecquers.

We reserved for thirteen people and were very well taken care of by Mario, a Chilean man that had spent a few years in New York and was therefore able to understand us and be understood by us. The food was good but not outstanding and they had two wine lists. Be careful as one list contains very expensive wines... More

Two years to the day since my last visit and once again, an excellent evening far from home. Food, service, hospitality - all very good. Our server was a Paul Anka fan, I'm from Paul Anka's home town - next thing I know we're on Canadian musicians and Donna Krall is filling the evening. I was entertaining two Canadian clients... More

The service started off great - the waiter even suggested that the children's food come out right away - but the speed got much slower throughout the meal, and the food itself was good but not great. Disappointing for such a highly rated place.

I ate here for lunch. Locations and ambiance were good. I had ceviche as an app and gnocchi for lunch. Overall, it was ok. Certainly not bad, but not a highlight either. Location is right by the big Casino in Vina Del Mar, so a (enclosed) terrace seat has a decent view from the window. Service was good, and prices... More

Situated across from the casino the atmosphere provides a touch of class. Service was excellent and cheerfully understanding with those less fluent in the language. The pasta dishes are very good but the carne less so. The skirt steak in particular was underwhelming. The carpaccio palumeta for all its simplicity was extraordinarily delightful. Not the best value for the money.
