Best for local food and shisha!

There are so many branches of Reem Al Bawadi now but the original on jumeirah beach road is still the best! Quirky decorations, delicious food and a huge shisha menu makes for a levy evening! Try the fruit cocktail juice!

The branch near Dubai mall was full up when we called ahead to reserve, so we went to the restaurant on Jumeirah beach road. It was large and almost empty, now i don't wonder why. The kebabs were very salty and dry like they were made earlier and reheated and served. Although the food arrived really fast, it was not... More

I went with a mixed group including Arabic and they were not impressed. The presentation is not that great compared to the price. Weird combinations. Quality, flavor was ok but I too had the experience of embarrassment from the waiter to the point of getting angry with the place. Might be authentic but I mostly saw foreigners here, no way... We went here on. Recommendation from the hotel and enjoyed our visit. The food was very good and the interior very nice except the air con was set to blast chill levels. It isn't the easiest to get to however due to the many roadworks currently in progress in Dubai and at rush hour can take a lot longer than... More

I dislike the policy of Reem Al Bawadi restaurant specially the one in downtown, the management in my opinion have trained the waiters very well to rip customers off. they insist you to have seafood then they push you to order the lobster, shockingly you end up paying a fortune. they force you to order what they want to sell... Great place, fantastic ambience and superb service are known facts about this restaurant. The seating capacity is very high and yet the restaurant is filled almost daily. The new and enhanced menu has many delicious items included for vegetarians and eggetarians. Shisha 9/10 Food 8/10 Service 8/10 Ambience 8/10 Locale 9/10 Parking 7/10

Staying in Jumeirah

Neighborhood Profile
Years ago, before the skyscrapers, before the 12-lane highway, there was only Jumeirah. In fact, when the UAE was formed, its rulers signed the agreement in Union House, at the very start of Jumeirah Beach Road. Often called “The Beverly Hills” of Dubai, a drive down Beach Road reveals one enormous, lavish villa after another. Originally residential-only neighborhoods, they are now also home to an array of cafes, smart boutiques, and art galleries. Home to one of Dubai’s few public beaches, this recently renovated area includes a new boardwalk, running and walking track, with changing facilities and cafes along the way. Another landmark, Jumeirah Mosque, is the only mosque in Dubai that can be entered by non-Muslims. As part of the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding, the mosque hosts regular tours and talks about Islam, as part of an “Open Doors, Open Minds” program. A wonderful way to understand more about the UAE and Islam.
