You feel like seating in a train station too many people around, noisy and the food is not the one we knew in the place 10 years ago !

We family and family relatives went to this restaurant for dinner. The ambience is really amazing and you enjoy sitting outside where you can have a nice view too. The food is really very very good and also the quantity is sufficient. It is good to be with at least one more person to share the quantity but quality is... More

You have selections of fresh juices, kebabs and skewers, seafood, and salads galore. Waiters are friendly and dressed in regional gharb, speak English, and know the menu. You really can't go wrong. Service is typical of the area so if you are in a hurry you will have to make eye contract frequently.

Yesterday evening we went out with a group of 5 to have a nice relaxing time in this beautiful restaurant. One of the group did the ordering, but apparently the waiter made his own interpretation and the amount of food served was enormous, actually much too much a normal human being can handle. The waiter should know what the size... More

Staying in Jumeirah

Neighborhood Profile
Jumeirah
Years ago, before the skyscrapers, before the 12-lane highway, there was only Jumeirah. In fact, when the UAE was formed, its rulers signed the agreement in Union House, at the very start of Jumeirah Beach Road. Often called “The Beverly Hills” of Dubai, a drive down Beach Road reveals one enormous, lavish villa after another. Originally residential-only neighborhoods, they are now also home to an array of cafes, smart boutiques, and art galleries. Home to one of Dubai’s few public beaches, this recently renovated area includes a new boardwalk, running and walking track, with changing facilities and cafes along the way. Another landmark, Jumeirah Mosque, is the only mosque in Dubai that can be entered by non-Muslims. As part of the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding, the mosque hosts regular tours and talks about Islam, as part of an “Open Doors, Open Minds” program. A wonderful way to understand more about the UAE and Islam.
