Still good but with "issues"!

Just been to the Sheikh Zayed branch for breakfast at 9am on a Friday morning. In the past it has bee impossible to park at that time, but this morning I thought it was closed! Only my husband and myself and one other couple. I suspect that this may be due to a couple of reasons. Firstly, flies... read more

I'm coming back there whenever I'm in the neighborhood. I love the place.. it's really bright and spacious. The interior is industrial and simple. Tables inside as well as outside where you can be accompanied by a friendly cat. Lime Tree Cafe serves so far the best coffee I've had in Dubai. Food selection is tempting as everything is fresh... Stopped here during a visit and it was awesome, freshly made local produce which was just what the doctor ordered. Staff could not have been more helpful and all reasonably priced

Lime Tree provides an excellent selection of sandwiches, salads and cakes, which change daily, as well as great juices, a selection of breakfast items, teas and coffees. The lunch items cannot be faltered, and although I have my favourites, I always like to try something new as it is guaranteed to be good! The same applies to the cakes, however... More

This is a great lunch spot!! Everything is made fresh, and the food is delicious. I love the fresh squeezed juices, the Mediterranean veggie sandwich, and their desserts are decadent. They serve both breakfast and lunch items, as well as salads and sides. Everything I've had here is great, light, and made with love. If you're visiting Dubai, stop here... More

This cafe must have some of the freshest homemade food in Dubai! The owners originate from New Zealand, and the arrange of salads, meats and pies is spectacular, not to mention the desserts! The best Carrot cake in the world! Lovely location known mainly to the residents of Dubai rather than the tourist trail. Close to Jumeirah Mosque.

A return visit to The Lime Tree was a must. Their carrot cake is to die for. Their portions of carrot cake are large so easily can be shared. Lovely atmosphere sat outside under the canopy. Service good as always. Accommodating for all age groups. Would recommend a visit

Staying in Jumeirah

Neighborhood Profile
Jumeirah
Years ago, before the skyscrapers, before the 12-lane highway, there was only Jumeirah. In fact, when the UAE was formed, its rulers signed the agreement in Union House, at the very start of Jumeirah Beach Road. Often called “The Beverly Hills” of Dubai, a drive down Beach Road reveals one enormous, lavish villa after another. Originally residential-only neighborhoods, they are now also home to an array of cafes, smart boutiques, and art galleries. Home to one of Dubai’s few public beaches, this recently renovated area includes a new boardwalk, running and walking track, with changing facilities and cafes along the way. Another landmark, Jumeirah Mosque, is the only mosque in Dubai that can be entered by non-Muslims. As part of the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding, the mosque hosts regular tours and talks about Islam, as part of an “Open Doors, Open Minds” program. A wonderful way to understand more about the UAE and Islam.
