Authentic Kiwi

Excellent moccacino and good, healthy food very reminiscent of real NZ fare. Free water, comfortable seats and nice terrace notwithstanding the proximity of Sheik Zayed Road.

Food is delicious and the atmosphere amazing ! breakfast ? Lunch ? Early dinner ? YESSS !!! I like going there with friends as well as on my own or for business meetings. Great menu choices and amazing desserts. My favorite is the (not so healthy but) super-tasty carrot cake :)

I loved the overall look of the Lime Tree Café. It's fresh, vibrant and contemporary. The menu is interesting or rather, the selection on display as there is no printed menu. Visually it is appealing. Things sell fast so the platters are always being refilled and the variety of salads is wide. We had chicken and mango open sandwich and... More

I really liked the middle eastern influences in the menu, and when I walked to the counter, I was delighted to find an entire shelf of all kinds of wraps, sandwiches and the like, which featured lots of colour and greens. Walking into the place was like walking into a secret garden - lots of wood, and perfect for brunch.... More

I do not eat eggs. What this means is that most places I go for breakfast I have little to choose from in the breakfast menu. Sometimes you just order a heap if sides or you have to ask for the eggs to be taken off the plate, knowing you will still pay for them. At the Lime Tree I... More

I'm coming back there whenever I'm in the neighborhood. I love the place.. it's really bright and spacious. The interior is industrial and simple. Tables inside as well as outside where you can be accompanied by a friendly cat. Lime Tree Cafe serves so far the best coffee I've had in Dubai. Food selection is tempting as everything is fresh... Just been to the Sheikh Zayed branch for breakfast at 9am on a Friday morning. In the past it has bee impossible to park at that time, but this morning I thought it was closed! Only my husband and myself and one other couple. I suspect that this may be due to a couple of reasons. Firstly, flies!!! Lots of... More

Stopped here during a visit and it was awesome, freshly made local produce which was just what the doctor ordered. Staff could not have been more helpful and all reasonably priced

Lime Tree provides an excellent selection of sandwiches, salads and cakes, which change daily, as well as great juices, a selection of breakfast items, teas and coffees. The lunch items cannot be faltered, and although I have my favourites, I always like to try something new as it is guaranteed to be good! The same applies to the cakes, however... More

Staying in Jumeirah

Neighborhood Profile
Jumeirah
Years ago, before the skyscrapers, before the 12-lane highway, there was only Jumeirah. In fact, when the UAE was formed, its rulers signed the agreement in Union House, at the very start of Jumeirah Beach Road. Often called “The Beverly Hills” of Dubai, a drive down Beach Road reveals one enormous, lavish villa after another. Originally residential-only neighborhoods, they are now also home to an array of cafes, smart boutiques, and art galleries. Home to one of Dubai’s few public beaches, this recently renovated area includes a new boardwalk, running and walking track, with changing facilities and cafes along the way. Another landmark, Jumeirah Mosque, is the only mosque in Dubai that can be entered by non-Muslims. As part of the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding, the mosque hosts regular tours and talks about Islam, as part of an “Open Doors, Open Minds” program. A wonderful way to understand more about the UAE and Islam.
