Missed the breakfast cut off point which is 1pm on a weekend a bit disappoints that they don't do an all day breakfast. Ordered the roast beef sandwich (fairly good) with a mixed berry drink (large in portion and refreshing). For dessert went with the moo moo chocolate cake (moist and served with jelly beans) and flat white (nice strong... More

An excellent place to hang out with friends over a couple of sandwiches, coffee or nice lemongrass iced tea Has its own charm and ambience, different from other cafes which are typically musty smoke filled and dark

High temperatures demand cooling food and so we headed to the Lime Tree Cafe. We ordered the crunchy apple and lettuce salad with the lemon chicken sandwich for our mains and the Thai chicken soup with tomato scones for our starters. Great quality food and portions large enough for sharing. A really enjoyable meal!

My friend and I went to Lime Tree Cafe for a quick breakfast bite. Things I loved: Amazing menu and display of all their delicious foods. Deli style homemade goods. Lemon and mint Infused water on tap, drink as much as you want. The coconut chicken curry and rice was delicious! The freshly baked pumpkin and feta scones were to... More

This restaurant/cafe is recommended by my colleague, shes always telling me to pass by on this cafe every time I am in JBR area. Until such time last week, I did. All I can is THE BEST cafe. Another carrot cake, please?! I would surely recommend this to all my friends and family.

The Lime Tree cafe was recommended by some friends...they were going to join us, but had to bail out on the last minute. We had green detox smoothies...ok, so they did taste ok. We had the fruit salad and yoghurt - nice selection of fresh fruit served in a glass. Eggs Benedict and Rayale were decent, as was their cafe... More

Beautiful fresh food. We had breakfast here and had the special of the day. It was an egg dish and it was full of flavour and so fresh. Also had a coffee and hot chocolate both which were great as well. We then ordered a juice (they have a great menu to choose from) and it was delicious! There a... More

Staying in Jumeirah

Neighborhood Profile
Jumeirah
Years ago, before the skyscrapers, before the 12-lane highway, there was only Jumeirah. In fact, when the UAE was formed, its rulers signed the agreement in Union House, at the very start of Jumeirah Beach Road. Often called “The Beverly Hills” of Dubai, a drive down Beach Road reveals one enormous, lavish villa after another. Originally residential-only neighborhoods, they are now also home to an array of cafes, smart boutiques, and art galleries. Home to one of Dubai’s few public beaches, this recently renovated area includes a new boardwalk, running and walking track, with changing facilities and cafes along the way. Another landmark, Jumeirah Mosque, is the only mosque in Dubai that can be entered by non-Muslims. As part of the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding, the mosque hosts regular tours and talks about Islam, as part of an “Open Doors, Open Minds” program. A wonderful way to understand more about the UAE and Islam.
