This Indian restaurant is very basic in its appearance and the tables and furniture etc. However, it is clean and the food is extremely good tasting and the value for money is exceptional. A great experience and definitely recommended and will be going back.

Ordered some food which we ordered a few years back, and we found that it has been microwaved (especially the paratha) which disappointed me. Basic setting in a nice location in Bur Dubai, easily accessible. Taste wise, food is good, but i will go to another venue next time like al ibrahimi.

Since its very famous restaurant we visited on recommendation. We tried different stuff here like peshawari mutton, khara gosht, dal gosht, and on n on.We were not at all disappointed with the serving size or the taste. It has very authentic flavours. Service is quick. All they can look for is upgrading the decor and cutlery which i feel is... More

I’ve been going to Ravi before it became famous and featured in Emirates advertisements and travel shows. It’s also one of the few restaurants in the city which attract a wide variety of customers—Western tourists, taxi drivers, local families, etc. They’ve become a bit more upscale now, with computerized receipts and laminated menus. Nevertheless, it lives up to the hype... More

I personally love Indian and Pakistani food so this was a treat for me. Wouldn't recommend it for everyone as it is an authentic dining experience with mostly large tables where everyone eats together. But the food was tasty, plentiful and served fast for a decent value.

We have been going on and off since 2002! Sit outside in the warm evening and eat like a king for the price of a pauper. It is perhaps not as good or as tasty as it once was, this goes up and down with the chef in the kitchens, I think. Dinner for 2 with soft drinks came out... More

Would you take your wife on her anniversary - not if you want to save your marriage! Any other day of the week this place is superb. CHEAP, good, fast restaurant food!! The restaurant has no ambiance and there is nothing of quality in the furniture or fittings. However if you want a really good meal that costs next to... More

This is one of my favorite spot when somebody is visiting me in Dubai. But you have to know what to expect: tasty food for ridiculous bill. Stop. No service, location recently renewed but a bit rustic, approximate cleaning (but never have any problem with the food). Love cheese naan and the different ways of chicken: zera, corma, ginger and...
