Shahrzad at Hyatt Regency Dubai was named after the beautiful daughter of the vizier of Sultan Shahryar, Shahrzad, who told the tale of 1001 nights. Visit Shahrzad and discover how the restaurant pays perfect attention to the details. Not only will the decor fascinate, but also authentic dishes, starting with the freshly baked tanour bread, followed by a selection of meat kebabs, seafood, fruits and vegetables, as well as the inspiring tunes of our live singer, will give you a true Iranian dining experience. All dishes are prepared the traditional way and served family-style. A variety of non-alcoholic Iranian beverages is offered as well as a selected wine list. For more intimate dining choose between: The Private Dining Room within an elegant setting, carpeted floor and an impressive ceiling lamp. The Ladies Dining Room, traditionally used for ladies gatherings with a curtain seperating it from the restaurant. The round family table overlooking the restaurant balconies.

great deal for hotel food

For some reason, food prices in Dubai hotels can be very expensive. The prices for high quality Japanese food here located in the Hyatt regency Hotel was extremely reasonable. Service was friendly and food tasty. The ambiance was pleasant as well.

Love Japanese cuisine. It is one of the finest restaurants to be in for a gr8 Japanese cuisine. I had Kaki fried teishoku and Ika Nattou, Sashimi everything was just beyond words.

We visited in a large group and had the floor seating room. Service was good but they mixed up several items. The portions are quite small and pricey at 60 Dhs at the least. The items are almost more Chinese than Japanese. The salads were tasty and elegantly served and the appetizers in general were good though the miso soup... More

Wow, what a great fish quality! I really had one the best sashimi of Dubai! Also the rest of the menu is very Japanese. Surely the location is not top unless you are guest at the hotel; you won't come here for lunch only, too far away!... But maybe it's a good dinner plan before visiting clubs in the area.... More

I have been here 3 times and every time was a fun and enjoyable experience. I usually sit at the hibachi grill to see the chef whoop up some good food and smoking, flaming tricks. The food is always excellent and the chefs are always smiling and social, which is great interaction. Price is reasonable and they always have Heineken... More

Authentic Japanese food in something different style, I really enjoyed dining here with my fi\riends. Something different, true authentic as well as of good standard. Try its seafood night reasonably priced, you will definitely love it.

Since I live in Japan, Japanese food was the furthest thing from my mind while staying in Dubai, but since there were few restaurants in the hotel or the surrounding area, not to mention that someone else was treating, why not?! I had their "tempura teishoku" which comes with Miso soup, rice and a small salad. It was quite filling.... More

Miyako serves very good japanese food, way more authentic than the typical european japanese/sushi place with fish cuts that are not seen there very often. Teppanyaki had to be the most entertaining experience in the restaurant, the chef will do a little show flying spatulas, eggs and rice bowls around while cooking which adds a little fun to the dinner.... Try the Salmon Salad. It's the only Japanese restaurant I have seen serve it this way. The Sushi is pretty standard and they have just about most of it on their menu.

The Business lunch and Ladies set lunches were great value and variety. Some of the dishes could have had a little more flavour though. Good service but the lighting could use a little dimming as it had a cafeteria feeling rather than intimate dining.
