After reading many mixed reviews of the Al Mahara Seafood Restaurant we decided to go and give it a try for ourselves. Impressive drive up to the Hotel and we were warmly greeted on arrival. The interior of the hotel is quite impressive but for a 7 star hotel one would expect far more. The restaurant we found dated and... More

Felt special, treated well, learnt a lot, met George, Thanks to Joyce, Tushar and all those at Al Mahara... Just a place to be for food and thought. Romantic, classy and elegant.

Impressive drive in to the hotel complex and nice cocktail on Level 23 Sky View bar had us excited for the experience. Setting was lovely and the tranquility of the majestic marine life did inpress....BUT...other than some good service it really missed the mark. Food was all over the place with way too many overpowering flavours. Had to send one... More

We chose the Al Mahara as an early celebration for my husbands birthday, during our vacation in Dubai. The restaurant has a great ambience and we had a table at the side of the aquarium and were just mesmerised by the variety of fish we saw through the evening. The staff were very professional, but so friendly and welcoming, providing... More

Took my wife there for her birthday. Food was excellent, servers were very attentive, informative, available for photo taking and fun to chat with. They provided free birthday cake at the end and a server sang happy birthday in two languages just to cover all ethnic boundaries. The lounge music and aquarium set a nice vibe during dinner. It is... More

On a business trip with stopover in Dubai and thought I would try out Al mahara. Interesting setup with the aquarium that I quite enjoyed. I eat a lot of seafood at home and I must say that I can see that a lot of effort has gone into preparing the food but I found it somewhat lacklustre and unbalanced.... More

We were in Dubai to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary and ate here on our last night, we,ve eaten at the Burj restaurants a few times and this one was just as good as the rest, the service and food were first class, the aquarium was out of this world. A special mention goes to George the oddest fish I,ve... More

OK the building is pretty impressive and very well known, but inside it's all looking a bit tired and in need of a good refurb. That doesn't mean that a trip to see it isn't worthwhile and dinner at Al Mahara is certainly a treat. Vincent the bartender manages the lounge and makes a mean cocktail; he's up for a... More

We visited for lunch /kids are allowed only at lunch time/.If you want to go, you need to make reservation well in advance...but it's just a tourist attraction, that's what it is. Well service is impeccable, so good-almost overwhelming. Food- the desert with real gold on it is impressive. Design- not my type, nothing so special, too modern for me.Many hotels in Antalya... More
