Overpriced and over hyped. you can't even get in unless staying at the hotel. They make the whole reservation process up to be something special which it really isn't. There appears to be nothing that special about the whole hotel.

Definitely the best thing about this was the view. However, you could have the same view (almost) from your suite at the Burj without having to fork out for their very excessively priced cocktails and afternoon tea. The tea was a bit strange with Beef Wellington included as well as a rather snooty hostess who insisted on telling us the... More

Went here a while ago, but having checked, I didn't review it, so here goes! We went for afternoon tea. Arriving at the entrance (with the Rolls Royce's and Bentleys I think ) you instantly knew this experience would be like no other in the world. I certainly haven't experienced anything like it. Entering you see the amazing lobby with... More

It was my birthday so we made a reservation and asked for a window table. We were told that one couldn't be guaranteed but that it would be noted which was fine. When we showed up I asked again and they said they would give us the next window table available. 10 minutes later a couple sat down at the... More

Both my daughters have recently graduated at University & this was a celebratory visit to the Burj Al Arab. Our table was just as we requested - a table with a fantastic view - combined with a continual flow of quality food & beverages. This is my 4th visit to the Burj - will definitely book again.

We had an Afternoon tea at the Skyview bar. Everything was really excellent - food, service, staff, music, the atmosphere. The view is fantastic and we really enjoyed during our stay there. Definitely a thing that must be done while staying in Dubai

We loved it. Afternoon tea at the Burj is a wonderful treat. From rhe minute you walk in till departure. The whole experience was excellent. The afternoon tea was just a delight, nothing was too much trouble and there was certainly no shortage of food or drink. This is a must do for anybody visiting Dubai plus you get a... More

when researching this hotel, you may find negative reviews from people who said they only wanted to have a look around. here's the deal: you need a booking of some description to get onto the premises - whether it be a room, a meal or a drink. the hotel is very clear about this, so those who just wanted to... I visited the Sky Bar for a champagne afternoon tea with my friend. It is very similar to afternoon tea at the Windsor Hotel in Melbourne or the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi food wise. It is definitely worthwhile paying the very expensive price as we did get to have a good look around the ground floor, 1st floor and... More
