Make sure that you make a reservation well in advance. We had to do it 6 weeks ahead. The place is stylish and stunning. Not cheap but worth the price for the experience. Tapas and " finger food" were very good. While there, check out the Hotel and the other amenities.

For me just being in the building is worth the money. It's amazing how excellent marketing effects our perceptions and experiences. Driving across the private bridge past all the people just taking photos. Warm welcome by the beautiful staff waiting to greet you. Stunning hotel lobby in Christmas themes and the largest nutcrackers I have ever seen. You need to... More

We went here for drinks prior to having dinner at the Al Mahara restaurant. We sat by the window overlooking the Jumeirah Beach Hotel with the city lights in the background. Drinks list was extensive and we had a couple of beautiful cocktails - cannot recall the name, they were so good we had a couple more! The waiter bought... More

Afternoon tea in the SkyBar at the Burj Al Arab is not easy to arrange (having a friend in Dubai helps) but is worth the experience. The 27th Floor is actually higher than what you might imagine, due to one 'floor' in this building being almost the equivalent of two average floors in height. But an exterior express lift gets... I grew up with High Tea being that my grandmother was from Liverpool. But never have I experienced this traditional afternoon delight quite so luxurious. We were seated with a view over Dubai and the Palms where Atlantis is. promptly served a glass of champagne that was served by the waiter in a manor I had never witnessed before. He... More

Not guaranted a outside view. Minimum spend to go to this bar £120.00, bought a bottle of water two gin & tonic's and a bottle of wine which the waiter got wrong. Ordered a bottle of red ( which for £100 was the worst wine I had in four days of my trip) bought me a bottle of white sauvigon... More
