Roti Mum Cafe newly relocated to Sofitel Downtown Dubai

Roti Mum Cafe used to be located in The Dubai Mall but moved to thier new home Sheikh Zayed Road right next to Sofitel Dubai Downtown with a new fleshed out menu; don't worry they still serve their famous buns and coffee. They've actually upped the ante with their buns, they are now stuffed with... read more

Tried their crepes and found it just about average. With the variety of outlets available at Dubai Mall, many better options to explore.

Didn't know what to expect as the menu had sweet and savoury options. The roti buns have your choice of topping smothered on top and are then baked; the result - delicious. So nice, on the next trip back we had more.

For a quick fill, Roti Mum satisfies your craving. It's not special nor does it give you that "Wow" factor but the Roti Bun is quite tasteful. Very different from the breads you usually buy or eat as it is very soft, buttery and sweet. A hot chocolate drink compliments the bun perfectly. Nice to try.

I've been a big fan of the kopi bun, that moist, light and buttery bread with a coffee flavored crust. Roti Mum cafe is a newer contender. Its location near the entrance of the food court and beside the At The Top entrance would have assured brisk business but on most days this cafe is barely half full (compared to... More

Yesterday, I had a roti bun again after a long time and still tastefully yummy. I am a bread lover. I always buy roti bun whenever I shop at Dubai Mall. I already missed it.

The buns are good, and the place is cozy. But I don't understand why would this place even be in the top 100 restaurant list of Dubai...??? This a coffee place in a mall and i don't think this belongs in this list.

I tried the chocolate bun and karak chai....which was not anything special. The buns give a very synthetic feel to the tongue !!...I could not feel the flour in it....more like a marshmallow...!!..The chocolate covering is nice. Can be tried once...
