Friday brunch review

Fantastic location, looking over the creek across to the Grand Hyatt. If you haven't been to any of the Dubai Friday brunch, here would be a good place to start. Buckets of freshly shucked oysyers, BBQ lobster, spit roast pig, fillet steak cooked to order next to a fried foie gras station. That's... read more

The restaurant is in a beautiful location next to the Creek, overlooking the Yacht Club. We had by majority decision elected to be inside, which was fortunate because it was quite dusty that day. We were in a group and it really felt like we were squeezed in, literally rubbing shoulders. The drink service was very slow, we even had... More

We chose Traiteur for our Friday brunch after reading excellent reviews and we were not disappointed. We opted for the sparkling wine option and the service was attentive but not intrusive and our glasses seemed to never empty... The setting was lovely and despite it being cooler than expected we had a great outside table. The choice of seafood was excellent... More

I chose Traiteur as it is close to the airport and we had some friends on a stopover . Coming from England they wanted to eat outside, but Traiteur has no heat lamps so we were driven inside by the cold! Not much warmer inside as the a/c appeared to be on summer temperature. I never took my jacket off... More

Was asked on arrival if I wanted the Champagne or Prosecco menu option. I didn't really want either but went for the latter (one glass). I didn't realise there was a non-alcoholic menu option and that glass of Prosecco cost me about $30... I do like a drink, but was working that day. Apart from that though, food was very... More

I think that without doubt Friday brunch at Traiteur was one of the highlights of our recent visit to Dubai. First, the food, it was fantastic and so varied that choosing wht you ate next was virtually impossible. A fresh seafod room, a room for desserts, a whole tabel bowing under the weight of chesse and biscuits and that's without... More

The brunch last Friday was without exaggeration the best brunch we ever had. Fantastic seafood counter, nice selection of salads and other appetizers, foie gras, from the grill lobster, tenderloin, etc... even suckling pig was offered, not to mention the fine cheese selection and desserts. What we liked most though is the relaxed atmosphere in which we could enjoy these... More

I've never been to a restaurant which has separate rooms for seafood and desserts. The choice is amazing and it was impossible to try it all, although we did our best!! Every dish was of the highest quality and all delicious - particular recommendations for salt-baked salmon, roast beef and the raspberry dessert - although I imagine the menu changes... More

As soon as your limo enters the gate your stress will disappear. If tranquille elegance is luxury - this place is the best. And still right in the center of Dubai. With great views of the creek. Simply wonderful - and pricy.

We fly into Dubai for the week end and had brunch at the Park Hyatt. As usual, great food that took your breathe away, and good wine. Not as great wine as when last we visited, but still good. Will do again.
