The home of Cuisine Nicoise, whose origins lie in old Genoese cooking, is the old town of Nice where French Mediterranean cuisine has blended and evolved with the influences of Ligurian Italy across the border. Local produce, notably artichokes, courgettes, lemons, olives, tomatoes, peppers and girolles are used generously with sea food, meat and fresh pasta to produce a style that's light and healthy. Oil obtained from olives groves on the hills of the Alpes Maritimes behind Nice and extending into Liguria is used throughout.

We went there for dinner, a group of 10 people, so we decided to share the starters and each get his own main course. The food is very tasty, great salads and appetisers and amazing mains. The staff insisted that we can not get our main dishes in individual plates. 3 of us ordered steaks (one medium, one rare and... More

Good food, service, ambience, but also expensive. Visited on a week day (Monday) night and restaurant was packed. The duck, beef, roasted chicken, family style were all very good.

This is a very popular and crowded resto that we visited on a Monday night. It was rocking and rollin'! The food is good and the cute French waiter was fun, but he did not know where the food came from. Why not? At those prices? It suppose the answer is because he doesn't have to know. No one asks... This is the best in Dubai so far, it was not that good when they opened in the beginning but now they are the best in Dubai. I can't go to dubai without having a meal there especially the escargot "snails" very popular and it's delicious there. Like London branch but I prefer it as they have a good wine... More

Le Petit has been our bright spot in trips to Dubai, the romantic vibe and terrific wine list are the highlights. On our last visit the Somm recommended a wine that was outstanding and a value. I would suggest dining on the small plates and sipping wine. The seafood quality was first class, langoustine dish in particular was impressive. Venison... More

First class French restaurant aimed to impress. Rather loud so best for smaller groups. Food is served family style which makes for a great experience and is really unique as it is 5 star cuisine. Snails and duck were table favorites. Ask for wine assistance; extremely helpful and not pushy toward high end. Come early and sit at bar to... More
