Great Casual Anniversary Dinner

We wanted a delicious, but not formal, anniversary dinner, with a great view of the city. It's a long way up to the Observatory Dubai. We had great food and service to Dubai standard. Expect more of a busy family atmosphere than a quiet one, but it was romantic nonetheless.

We came here on a Thursday night for happy hour cocktails and stayed for dinner which was immense! Firstly - the view is spectacular. From the bar you can see all the Atlantis Palm resort and the restaurant has similarly wonderful views over Dubai. We opted for the unlimited BBQ and drinks package at 399AED a head (approx. £80) and... More

Had dinner here and we're fortunate enough to have a table by the window so able to see the wonderful vista. It is really special restaurant with amazing views and the food was too. We both were delighted with the service and the food arrived promptly, wax hot and delicious. Worth going up all those floors.

We made the decision based on recommendations from friends to visit The Observatory on our last night in Dubai and it did not disappoint! The food was fantastic, the views epic and the service perfect. The food and drink is no more expensive than going to a decent UK restaurant when it could be a lot more expensive just for... More

Wonderful view for a late evening dinner on the 52nd floor, however we were left disappointed with the meal. We arrived on time but our window seat wasn't available. They Tried to offer a seat without the view. Eventually a table was set for us, really not difficult but not readily offered. My husband ordered an expensive rib eye steak,... More

Great night and lots of laughs, great place to unwind after a busy week and the bar nibbles are good also. The views are great even at night and you can see the skydivers parachuting in for landings across the road.

We visited The Observatory a couple of times during this holiday to Dubai, it never disappoints. Staff are on the ball and helpful. This isn't fine dining but good food and wine with atmosphere! Great view!!

Have been to the observatory a few times now and always loved it, great food, great view! However last night we were served by the best waiter which made our time even better, in the 4 years I've lived in dubai I can honestly say Solomon has been one of the most attentive and hard working person I've came across... Staying in The Marina

Neighborhood Profile
The Marina
It’s hard to believe that only a decade ago there was no marina. Opened in 2003, the man-made marina runs along a 3km stretch of shoreline. A heady mix of luxurious hotels, apartment buildings, and cafes, the marina hosts regular community events and markets, and is a wonderful place to while away an afternoon or evening. Spectacular at night when the skyscrapers glisten, here you can enjoy dinner on the beach next to the sea, or visit a high-rise bar in a hotel for a magnificent view across the Gulf and the man-made Palm Island, with the world-famous Atlantis Hotel at its end. The Walk at Jumeirah beach Residences is a pedestrianized stretch leading to a new development: The Beach. It’s one of the few places where Gulf nationals mix with tourists and Western ex-pats. It’s a popular place to show off your supercar for an evening, so watch out for Lamborghinis, Maseratis, and Ferraris in abundance.
