High-End Chain Food of a Turkish Nature

Not outstanding but good. It is hard to find an excellent lokanta outside of Turkey. I ate a vegetarian lunch consisting of soslu patlican (a cold appetizer consisting of eggplant in tomato sauce) and imam biyildi [a hot (meaning warm not spicy) eggplant main course]. I was pleased eating both... read more

This restaurant is located on the Walk along Jumeirah Beach Residence. Since the opening of a large number of eating places across the road the older restaurants have to be competitive in both price and quality. Kosebasi obviously seems unaware of this. I have eaten there a couple of times before but have not reviewed it. I was there last... More

After flying 27 hours, this restaurant was the perfect choice for a delicious Turkish meal. The restaurant is located in the Jumeirah Beach area in the AL Wahda Mall conveniently located near the Hilton Dubai Jumeirah Beach hotel. The menu is quite extensive, reasonable prices, and the food was delicious! Seating can be inside or outside. I highly recommend this... More

Kösebasi is a restaurant with good turkish cuisine. The Waiter Rohit was perfect. His Menu knowledge is amazing, he knows just everything. The food was really tasty. The bread in the beginning was nice and warm and was a good start for the dinner. P.S. order the grilled Items! =)

This is really one of the best restaurants that served turkish meals in Dubai. I like their appetizers so much along with the hot bread. The barbecue was delicious and amazing

Nicely cooked Turkish food, very reasonably priced served by friendly staff. We were pleasantly surprised.

Never tried Turkish food before and I am now a convert. The food and service was excellent - we went for mostly lamb dishes and they were beautiful. In a great position too on the Walk. We will definitely return next year.

We ate here after walking around the marina area looking for a non-chain restaurant, with character and coming across Kosebasi, the Turkish food and outdoor seating appealed. Not too busy so the service was prompt and friendly. Clean interior and lavatories. We enjoyed our meal here.

We used to frequent Kosenbasi in JBR more than once a month - quite regularly actually, as it was simply delicious. Over time, their famous turkish kebab's have lost their magic. The flavouring of food is blander and the spices used seem to be too ordinary. Whereas the kebabs used to come with french fries in the past, they are... More

Staying in The Marina

Neighborhood Profile
The Marina
It’s hard to believe that only a decade ago there was no marina. Opened in 2003, the man-made marina runs along a 3km stretch of shoreline. A heady mix of luxurious hotels, apartment buildings, and cafes, the marina hosts regular community events and markets, and is a wonderful place to while away an afternoon or evening. Spectacular at night when the skyscrapers glisten, here you can enjoy dinner on the beach next to the sea, or visit a high-rise bar in a hotel for a magnificent view across the Gulf and the man-made Palm Island, with the world-famous Atlantis Hotel at its end. The Walk at Jumeirah beach Residences is a pedestrianized stretch leading to a new development: The Beach. It’s one of the few places where Gulf nationals mix with tourists and Western ex-pats. It’s a popular place to show off your supercar for an evening, so watch out for Lamborghinis, Maseratis, and Ferraris in abundance.
