The last time I visited this restaurant it disappointed. With competition from the new restaurants beachside they needed to do something to attract customers. I have eaten here a few times and it is totally reliable. The cuisine is Lebanese, I think, but it does not matter. There are many types of hummus-type "dips" and unlimited warm bread that keeps arriving. The meat dishes, if you have room, are succulent and a good portion. Most of all, the waiter is very knowledgeable and attentive... More

We stumbled on this place as we were going to have breakfast at Paul next door but it was very busy. Whilst deciding whether to wait for a table or go somewhere else we were approached by a very personable waiter from Kosebasi who presented us with their menu and gave a very detailed explanation of the turkish breakfast dishes.... A lovely restaurant. The starters are wonderful, especially the Hummus and breads. Had a lovely Chicken Shish with rice. Staff were attentive and friendly. Not expensive. Definitely worth a try!

Ordered delivery from here and it was very very bad. The doner appetizer was dry very dry with little flavor. I threw it away after a few bites. The enginar which is an artichoke and carrot appetizer consisted of marinated artichoke hearts from a can and was pretty bad. However the ezo gelin was quite good. This is typical Dubai... More

Kosebasi is one of my fav restaurant, however this time it was not as expected. There was construction in front of the main door, while we are having our launch the waiter was cleaning some guest tables nearby us with the cleaning spray, so the smells was cleaning chemical and food. the waiter forget to bring the drinks in addition... We went for dinner and it was a great choice. Plenty of choices, very good fresh made bread, the food was very fresh. Very good tomato soup as well. Attentive service, Maya and her colleagues were great. Prices are acceptable. We will be back again.

Very good quality turkish food, with excellent and attentive service. Plenty of good extras, and some nice fresh hot bread to begin with. The signature lamb kosebasi pide was great. The Cacik (refreshing cucmber salad) was okay, but a bit too watery in my opinion. Still, one of my better dining experiences in Dubai.

Staying in The Marina

Neighborhood Profile
The Marina
It’s hard to believe that only a decade ago there was no marina. Opened in 2003, the man-made marina runs along a 3km stretch of shoreline. A heady mix of luxurious hotels, apartment buildings, and cafes, the marina hosts regular community events and markets, and is a wonderful place to while away an afternoon or evening. Spectacular at night when the skyscrapers glisten, here you can enjoy dinner on the beach next to the sea, or visit a high-rise bar in a hotel for a magnificent view across the Gulf and the man-made Palm Island, with the world-famous Atlantis Hotel at its end. The Walk at Jumeirah beach Residences is a pedestrianized stretch leading to a new development: The Beach. It’s one of the few places where Gulf nationals mix with tourists and Western ex-pats. It’s a popular place to show off your supercar for an evening, so watch out for Lamborghinis, Maseratis, and Ferraris in abundance.
