I've rated the Bayt Al Wakeel very good as I don't want to downgrade it to average. Really it's 'good' but TA doesn't have the category. We had a speedy supper here on our last night in Dubai prior to leaving for the airport. Hummus, kebabs, baked bread, lemon mint juice. Speedily and pleasantly served. Great location on the creek.... I read good reviews about this restaurant but I was not impressed. The food is OK, but there's nothing to it that would make me return.

We had dinner at Bayt Al Wakeel which is located at the Bur Dubai Textile Souk and had mixed feelings about the restaurant. The setting is nice (al fresco dining with views of the boats), the price reasonable, but the food was average. The baba ganush and the mixed grill were fine, unfortunately the grilled hammour was overcooked and the... More

Thee restaurant provides nice dishes, and its location is absolutely prime. It is ideally located next to the abra station - just jump in for a falafel and behold the creek's bustling life.

I love visiting this restaurant when I go to Dubai. The setting is fantastic, you can watch the abras crossing the creek and soak up the hustle of the real Dubai. The service is basic, no frills, but the food is served quickly and is reasonably cheap. I always opt for an assortment of meze dishes (the falafels are delicious)... More

This is our favorite restaurant to go to when we have visitors shopping at the souks. Great atmosphere. The service isn't great and the food is average but the setting is wonderful. Makes you feel like you're in another world.

Great dinner spot to watch the abras and dinner cruises pass by along the Dubai creek. Quick service. The chicken tikka kebab was a huge portion for a good price. Prices seemed more reasonable than the restaurants by Heritage Village. Will definitely be going back.

The food was nice, nothing exceptional but together with the location and the atmosphere makes this a really nice spot.

Went here with friends visiting Dubai. Great location, good food, great atmosphere. We had a selection of mezze which we enjoyed at this wonderful creek side location where we sat out and enjoyed the view of passing abras, dinner cruises and water taxis. The fresh fruit juices here are amazing and served in a long glass, the juices are thick... More

It is the only real waterside restaurant on the Creek which i cant understand, however, it is a great location. we had some mixed starters like Falafal, Tabouleh, Hommous with pine nuts, Baba Ganoush and Arabic bread. For mains we had chicken shish kebab and a portion of prawns as well as fresh salad and rice - for drinks we... More
