Beautiful setting. Poor service. Dreadful food. We arrived at abou 2pm and were seated inside because the tables outside were reserved for VIPs. The friendly staff took our order and we waited.....and waited and waited. Unfortunately for us, the VIPs (Emirati) arrived shortly after our order was taken and our order was sidelined. After half an hour, I asked to... More

We took a visiting friend here for lunch. It's a great venue and food was tasty. The service wasn't great though as we struggled to get the waiters attention several times. Would consider going back again.

Straight forward Lebanese style food served quickly and quite tasty. What you would expect. While it was not a memorable dining experience from a food point of view, the location was very good and the atmosphere was relaxed. The parade of lit up creek cruise dining ships was interesting and convinced us threatening overlooking the creek was better than being... More

We just loved this restaurant. It is located along the creek and you can watch the abras passing by. We ordered the seafood platter which was fantastic. Prices are reasonable considering the location. Only negative for us was the waiter who seemed to be in too much of a hurry and was rushing us with our order.

Views are great, you can sit there for hours watching boats and yachts passing by. Food is generally good but depends on dish. Falafal was very tasty, perhaps best we tasted in Dubai. Some Eggplant appetizer with pomegranate sauce was average. Seafood and veg fried rice were ok. We ordered meat platter which was horrible. Waiters were confused. After 5... More

The food was acceptable, the service ok. We went there because we liked the look of the restaurant hanging out over the water as we crossed the creek in the Abra. But there are much better restaurants in the Creek area.

I came my first time two years ago and I found the place and the food delicious! I really wanted to come again. It's a great place to rest and eat when you are souk shopping.

I've rated the Bayt Al Wakeel very good as I don't want to downgrade it to average. Really it's 'good' but TA doesn't have the category. We had a speedy supper here on our last night in Dubai prior to leaving for the airport. Hummus, kebabs, baked bread, lemon mint juice. Speedily and pleasantly served. Great location on the creek.... I read good reviews about this restaurant but I was not impressed. The food is OK, but there's nothing to it that would make me return.
