Not busy here and still everything takes for ever. Staff are terse and inconsiderate. The area is great. If you just want a coffee go to costa just down the road.

I was given a package of these dates 10 yrs ago and never forgot where they came from. I just visited Dubai and had to seek out this establishment . Well I was not disappointed, but in awe of the store and the variety of dates. You haven't had good dates until you've had these. My only regret is that... More

Cafe Bateel's desserts are amongst the best! Excellent tarts (lemon and salted caramel with chocolate are amazing) and a few others that I've tried - but don't remember the names. Friendly staff at Marina Walk and a very relaxing atmosphere as well (we were seated outside). A little expensive, but definitely worth it. 5/5. I look forward to trying other... More

I went to this restaurant at Dubai Marina, the location is amazing but the restaurant is so so... Nothing really special... The menu a la carte is basic and don´t have any special food... Prices are quite expensive for that service !

We spent quite a lot of time in Dubai Mall & love our coffee. The nicest place we found in the Mall was Cafe Bateel which serves excellent coffee & can be found in the area of the Waterfalls. It attracted us initially because was it was full of locals. We ordered 2 coffees and a chocolate muffin from the... More

One thing I like about this place is 2 things. One they do pay attention to details and 2, ingredients. It is very clear they don't hold back when it comes to sourcing the good stuff. If you are ever there, try to mix things up a bit. Order the club sandwich but in date bread. You will be pleasantly... More

Not good place to dine, slow customer service, I Waited more than 15 minutes and have been served without cutleries and napkin after ordering a salad, pastry and coffee. Wrong orders and slow response time from their staff. Their so called arabica coffee tastes tastes bland. Better to drink coffee in Starbucks or Costa. I give my thumbs down.

Neighborhood Profile
The Marina
It’s hard to believe that only a decade ago there was no marina. Opened in 2003, the man-made marina runs along a 3km stretch of shoreline. A heady mix of luxurious hotels, apartment buildings, and cafes, the marina hosts regular community events and markets, and is a wonderful place to while away an afternoon or evening. Spectacular at night when the skyscrapers glisten, here you can enjoy dinner on the beach next to the sea, or visit a high-rise bar in a hotel for a magnificent view across the Gulf and the man-made Palm Island, with the world-famous Atlantis Hotel at its end. The Walk at Jumeirah beach Residences is a pedestrianized stretch leading to a new development: The Beach. It’s one of the few places where Gulf nationals mix with tourists and Western ex-pats. It’s a popular place to show off your supercar for an evening, so watch out for Lamborghinis, Maseratis, and Ferraris in abundance.
