Shakespeare provides a cozy, chic ambiance reminiscent of Victorian elegance, where clients can enjoy a unique menu of high-quality, gourmet food, drinks and excellent service. The concept derives its uniqueness from the combination of high quality service at a reasonable price and an original style decor. The eclectic menu covers all-day-breakfast (Continental & Arabic), saj, pizza, pasta, international salads, a variety of meat, fish and vegetarian main dishes as well as desserts – all served with panache in a beautiful presentation.

Shakespeares on Beach Rd in Jumeirah 1, is worth a visit solely for the fabulous decorations on the walls, tables, chairs and ceiling. The atmosphere is quirky, and the food fine

Not a bad place to go when you are stuck and passing by. Food is OK, kids room is normally OK, but full of old toys and old food !

Food was average. Place is over rated. Very expensive. Don't know why we bothered, MacDonalds would have served us better and at least cooked the bread before serving it!!

The decoration is from a "fairy tale" book, like a doll house, with lots of pink tones, frills, laces, comfortable flowery printed arm chairs. The menu is extensive, from everything one can have for breakfast, lunch, a quick snack, dinner and an incredible array of pastries, all delicious! I have eaten there several times and have never had to complain!... More

Wide selection of foods and drinks along with the ever so popular shisha in Dubai. Shakespeare is the place to go to catch up with friends and spend time together. The service is good and the food is of a wide variety. This is not a fine dining place but more of a café styled place to hang out. I... More

Staying in Jumeirah

Neighborhood Profile
Jumeirah
Years ago, before the skyscrapers, before the 12-lane highway, there was only Jumeirah. In fact, when the UAE was formed, its rulers signed the agreement in Union House, at the very start of Jumeirah Beach Road. Often called “The Beverly Hills” of Dubai, a drive down Beach Road reveals one enormous, lavish villa after another. Originally residential-only neighborhoods, they are now also home to an array of cafes, smart boutiques, and art galleries. Home to one of Dubai’s few public beaches, this recently renovated area includes a new boardwalk, running and walking track, with changing facilities and cafes along the way. Another landmark, Jumeirah Mosque, is the only mosque in Dubai that can be entered by non-Muslims. As part of the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding, the mosque hosts regular tours and talks about Islam, as part of an “Open Doors, Open Minds” program. A wonderful way to understand more about the UAE and Islam.
