Yummy thai

The food is good and it's a bit pricey for the initial slow service but at the end of the day the venue is really nice and the view if the fountain is beautiful The food we had was all really good can't complain about anything

This is a Thai restaurant heavily influence by seafood, in particular shrimp and prawns. Therefore, if you are allergic to crustaceans (as I am), you will have a limited offering. The staff were great in offering to adapt meals to leave out the seafood but the food was good but not great. The service was attentive and had a relaxed... More

I have been to the Mango tree 2 times. The first time the service and the food were very good, above average. I cannot say the same thing about the second time i went there. The food was good but below expectation and so was the service

Food is amazing, service as well and decoration is nice. I had the salmon and was great but the best was the Mango Cheese Cake, I loved it, it was so good. Thank you for all.

Returned yet again to one of my favourite Thai restaurants in Dubai. The staff were exceptional making sure we had everything we needed without being over present. The food is exceptional. Mixed starters, Tom Kha Gai, Pad Nam Prik Pao, The prawns...oh my! Really nice Pinot Grigio white as well. Although some of their 'Expert Wines' are ridiculously overpriced. The... More

Nice Thai food. Pricey- probably because of the position in Souk Al Bahar overlooking the fountain light-show. We booked a table on the terrace expressly to get a good view of the light show- and we weren't disappointed in that. It was very hot the night we went there. but we were offered a table inside in the air-conditioning (which... More

This is the spot! Lovely views of the Burj and the water fountains. Sit out on the deck if you don't mind the heat or inside still gets some view, but you have to duck outside for the best shots of the fountains. Oh and the food - bellisimo! A great team of staff gave great service and we dined... More

We booked here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and ate here after coming down from the Burj Khalifa. We asked for a water-side table and our request was fulfilled. These tables are effectively outside but under cover at the same time. You have a ringside view of the impressive fountains, the only disadvantage being that those guests from the inner... More

Staying in Downtown Dubai

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown Dubai
You can’t fail to miss Dubai’s iconic Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building. It towers over the city and resides in the prestigious Downtown development. Once an old army base, Downtown is now the jewel in Dubai’s crown, a beautiful residential and leisure area housing not only the world’s tallest building, but the world’s largest fountains and mall. Wide marble sidewalks are perfect for strolling, with restaurants, art galleries and children’s play areas. Specially commissioned sculptures line the roads and Downtown is often used as a canvas for modern art displays and community events such as Classic Car Shows and National Day parades. In the cooler months, cross one of the many bridges to the Burj Khalifa park and enjoy a picnic alongside residents and visitors, or enjoy a lunch or dinner watch the dancing fountains. Because of its mixed use, Downtown is a fantastic place to mix with Dubai residents and locals and watch real life unfold in a cosmopolitan environment.
