So my friend and I had heard that Mango tree had an outdoor dining area which overlooked the fountain display so naturally we reserved a table. It was the best seat in the house to watch the fountains. We dined here at the beginning of MAy so it's already rather warm, so be prepared, if you sit outside, there is... More

I had a lunch with my friends. We've decided to dine here as I've seen many good feedbacks about this restaurant, so I invited my friends to come here. The restaurant was totally empty, but no staff looked after us at all. The manager was around, but not attended at all to our table to ask if everything is fine... More

One of the best Thai I have eaten.. Being a vegeterian, i wasnt dissappointed at all with the food. Try the green curry..its great.. If visiting in the winter months, then make sure you pick a seat in the outdoor area - its a bliss to watch the fountain dancing away in front of you whilst you eat... They have... More

This is the perfect restaurant to enjoy a high class meal ,great service and of course the views of the khalifa ,but I would recommend this establishment to any one who likes oriental food ,the added bonus is the view of the water show which is 1st class Its expensive but you only get what you pay for

Great menu, lovely food and wine. A bit pricey but well worth it. Sit outside and watch the Dubai fountains.

Tasteful interiors and beautiful ambience can hardly be enough to keep going back to a restaurant. The food in this place keeps deteriorating at each visit. Greasy, tasteless, uninspired, cold food served remorselessly is what Mango Tree is reduced to. When I sent back my Massaman curry last night, which was sweetened water with some red chilli powder thrown in,... More

I have to say how fantastic the setting is for this restaurant and if you are in Dubai you need to see this view! It's right next to the Burj Khalifa fountains which every 30 minutes or so put on a spectacular show to music. We needed to book in advance to get a table outside with the best view.... More

This is one of the best restaurant I've been to in Dubai. The food is great and the setting is breathtaking. We were eating outside on the terrace which has a magnificent view on the fountains and the Burj Khalifa. The fountains show reminds of vegas as they dance on the music. It was just magical. The food was exceptional,... More

Staying in Downtown Dubai

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown Dubai
You can’t fail to miss Dubai’s iconic Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building. It towers over the city and resides in the prestigious Downtown development. Once an old army base, Downtown is now the jewel in Dubai’s crown, a beautiful residential and leisure area housing not only the world’s tallest building, but the world’s largest fountains and mall. Wide marble sidewalks are perfect for strolling, with restaurants, art galleries and children’s play areas. Specially commissioned sculptures line the roads and Downtown is often used as a canvas for modern art displays and community events such as Classic Car Shows and National Day parades. In the cooler months, cross one of the many bridges to the Burj Khalifa park and enjoy a picnic alongside residents and visitors, or enjoy a lunch or dinner watch the dancing fountains. Because of its mixed use, Downtown is a fantastic place to mix with Dubai residents and locals and watch real life unfold in a cosmopolitan environment.
