Amazing view of the Fountains

Excellent view to see the Fountains show in the evening, good thai food, acceptable service, reservation recommended to be done in advance in order to book a table outside on the terrace. The food is very spicy.

This restaurant will not disappoint you. The service is quick and excellent......we were 6 adults and 4 children. Book early to get the best experience watching the fountain/music show. Food is superb, good wine list. Negative points.......smokers next our table. We had 3 children and a baby, so not very pleasant. Cold plates....equals cold food.

We visit the Mango Tree every year as a highlight to our holiday in Dubai. Sitting outside on their balcony, we can enjoy the Dubai Fountains along with the amazing Thai food and excellent service from the staff. The staff take orders for huge tables of customers without using a pad (just memory) and ALWAYS get everything right! Very impressive... More

A thai restaurant which couldn't get a tom yum straight is not worth of going. I ordered tom-yum followed by green curry. Both most popular dishes were a major let down. Chicken Massaman Curry was too sweet and only flavour was sweet nothing else. I'm sad to put this review because it used to be a very good thai joint...... More

Food and service excellent and the views of the fountains quite exceptional. Very good vantage point indeed. Would definitely recommend if in Dubai.

Our experience was great. Booked way ahead on line to get a table on the balcony to eat dinner and see the fountains. Somewhat pricey but worth the experience. Both of us loved our food and getting to see the fountain away from the crowds along with getting good pictures. We shared the spring roll appetizer that had a nice... More

First things first, the view of the fountains is PHE-NO-ME-NAL Probably the reason number one to come. It must be one of the best. Food and service are ok. It is good, nothing neither to complain or to be raving about. It is good and pretty much worth what you pay for. the crowd is mainly composed of mid-level tourists.... More

After eating in several Thai restaurants in Dubai unfortunately this place was did not meet my expectation. The service was very good but the food was average at best. My food was served cold and my wife's dish was only warm. This was however promptly changed by waitress. There were 5 of us and so we sampled a number of... More

Staying in Downtown Dubai

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown Dubai
You can’t fail to miss Dubai’s iconic Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building. It towers over the city and resides in the prestigious Downtown development. Once an old army base, Downtown is now the jewel in Dubai’s crown, a beautiful residential and leisure area housing not only the world’s tallest building, but the world’s largest fountains and mall. Wide marble sidewalks are perfect for strolling, with restaurants, art galleries and children’s play areas. Specially commissioned sculptures line the roads and Downtown is often used as a canvas for modern art displays and community events such as Classic Car Shows and National Day parades. In the cooler months, cross one of the many bridges to the Burj Khalifa park and enjoy a picnic alongside residents and visitors, or enjoy a lunch or dinner watch the dancing fountains. Because of its mixed use, Downtown is a fantastic place to mix with Dubai residents and locals and watch real life unfold in a cosmopolitan environment.
