This was a taste adventure to our european usual tastes. Arabic food of good quality, excellent service, very detailed and beautiful decor. To really feel the orient! Try hummus, tabuleh and a mix of grilled kabab.

We were quite disappointing trying to go to the restaurant with such a good review. Unfortunately it was closed with notice on the door that it will reopen on 1. september 2014. They could publish this in Tripadvisor...

We just dropped in this restaurant after visiting the fort. Our grandson declared the bread to be great Arab bread. He kept grabbing more pieces to be sure he got more than his fair share! We enjoyed our lunches and watching the bread maker making bread (not quite as fast as our grandson devoured it) BTW, the bathrooms were very... More

My husband and I choose to track this restaurant down as it was given good reviews in our guide book and we had spent the morning at the nearby souks. Unfortunately though lunch was a really disappointing experience. Although the restaurant is located in the original old town and has been wonderfully restored, tastefully styled and decorated, the food itself... More

We went to Bastakiah nights for lunch and did enjoy it. The local cuisine is great. Staff was very friendly. The atmosphere is stylized as old Arabic and looks nice.

We went to Bastakia nights for a late lunch around 4.30 pm. The restaurant is in a very pleasant and picturesque little courtyard. We ordered; Hummus, Biriyani and Koresh-e-Bamieh between 2 of us. The hummus was good and the breads were very nice. The biriyani wasn't like the traditional biriyani I'm used to, it was more like a chicken kebab... More

We had a lunch there while walking at the Bastakya. Very beautiful and warm place with the cozy courtyard and delicious Iranian sweets and coffee. We loved it!

Batakiah Nights is located in Al Bastakiah, this small reconstituted but authentic Old Dubai District near Dubai Creek. The house is an architectural landmark made od sand stone with old time decoration and arabesque carpentries. The courtyard is a wonderful place for a drink and mezze and later at night for romantic and quiet dinner. Here no music, no noise,... More

Pleasant outdoor dining, excellent Middle Eastern food. We enjoyed kabobs, grape leaves and tabouli. Service was excellent. I also loved the pure Arabic coffee.

Went there with my son and his girlfriend after we had walked round the Souks across the Dubai Creek. It was the evening of the night Dubai was awarded the 2020 Expo so great excitement abounded. Sat in a exceptionally pleasant traditional Arabian courtyard. Food was varied and regionally tasteful. Different Houmas flavours with pitta bread dips - delight! Seasoned chicken... More
