one of the best in jeddah i love the service and the atmosphere and most importantly the food try the sunset sushi roll it will never let you down one of my fav spots at the city
Nice atmosphere but the food is not nearly as good as shogun or ajii, the maki was average at beat, we ordered beef with black pepper sauce which was good & tender, the rest wasn't bad but not worth going to again
I've had the pleasure and misfortune of going to most of the Chinese, Japanese and other Asian restaurants in Jeddah. The majority of them are pretty crap since they cater to the tastes locals want as opposed to actually being authentic. As a result they all end up looking and tasting the same regardless of price difference. Soy is an... More
Soy is one of its kind when it comes to the Decor and Ambiance. It's very "Zen" and comfy. My wife always finds it's too cold inside so I suggest you wear an extra layer to keep warm. The service is at its best and the staff is very friendly. The menu is diversified and the food is really good.... More
I have been to over a 200 Chinese restaurants in USA, Saudi, and UAE. And I had high expectation of SOY. The best thing was the atmosphere. The entrance, the interior design, the waiters, and the timing of food were great. The food was average. SOY (food wise) will fall between Chopsticks and Gulf Royal (both restaurants are in Jeddah)... More
Nice Resto with excellent food although prices is bit on the high side considering the portion. Nice staff. Setting is very nice with a very soft lighting. Table arrangement project a sense of privacy to the diners. Overall a very good restaurant.
Had dinner at the restaurant, the atmosphere of the restaurant and the service was very good. But when it came to food I was disappointed, the food was good but it did not feel to live to my expectations for this restaurant. For note, I had beef and did not have any seafood as I don't eat seafood. So I'm... More

I live in the United Kingdom, but visit Jeddah more than annually to see the family. When I was in Jeddah in 2011, I wanted to visit this restaurant that claimed to be Pan-Oriental. Unfortunately, I visited the (Destination Jeddah) website, who wrote a very negative review about the restaurant's 'soft opening' (dated 09/03/2011). The article was intent on comparing... More
We went with expectations as this should be the restaurant of the former Toki chef, sadly they didn't live up! Reasonably cosy decor, friendly service but the food lacked any kind of Wauw factor! Unbalanced flavors, either very salty or very sweet.. And they also managed to get the order wrong.. We will not be back!
