When we saw there was an Aussie bar in town, we thought we'd avoid it like the plague as we'd prefer not to hang out with a bunch of yahoo Aussies whilst on holiday. But, we found ourselves searching for cold beer, the beer in Luang Prabang can be warm! So we gritted our teeth and went to the Aussie... More

During my trip in Laos, I happened to hear that there's a good place for Westerners in Luang Prabang and it's called something Aussie. That's why I decided to check it out via online-booking and it turned out that it really lives up to its reputation. Not only the food was very good but also the bed was comfy at... More

We were here about five times for breakfast, or drinks or to watch the Aussie footy. The staff were very good and we were made to feel very comfortable here.

The Aussie Bar in Luang Prabang is a great place to stay, eat and drink, providing very comfortable and clean rooms, an extensive menu to choose from and relax and watch sports or listen to music all afternoon. Just love the Snack items on the menu, washed down with a nice glass of Red wine.

what is better than that and have a Queensland win! But beer Lao cold, setting comfortable, staff very nice. Chips were good, would have liked to stay longer but had to leave.

The plan was to go to a restaurant nearby, but that one was closed that day, so we ended op at the Aussie Bar. I ordered a chicken parmesani and my girlfriend the battered fish and chips. The chicken parmesani was a bit tasteless. It was ok but this was probably the worst chicken parmesani I ever had. Then I... More

I have read your contribution. Whilst we try our best to make all our customers happy, with some people it is just not possible. You are one of the very few "odd" customers that we have that tend to "winge" about everthing. Our Chicken Parmigiana and Fish & Chips are in our 3 top sellers and from the feedback of... More

Went here for cold beer and some lunch today. The owner was super friendly with heaps of advice. Great to see plenty of TVs with a listing of today's events up. Well worth the stop for some Aussie food and a cold beer.

If you are trying to catch a game of your favourite team in SE Asia (I wanted to grab a Wallabies game) this place is perfect for you. A bit on the pricey side, but the food is good quality with some ol western favourties. The management is so good, they made sure the TV was loud enough to hear... More

Dont add or deduct anything from the listed meals. Adding chicken to my salad proved to be impossible. the staff dont speak english. I would stick to the million other restaurants in Luang Prabang.

Thankyou for your review. I agree with your comment that you should stick to listed menu items rather than try to add or delete. Communication with our English speaking staff can be difficult when you want to alter something on the menu and often leads to the diner being disappointed such as in your case. However I am sure you... More
