Went here to try the burgers on the recommendation of a friend and I was not disappointed! I had the veggie burger which is rare to find a good one in Lao but it was great. To top it off we had good service from the friendly waiting staff and a decent price! The only off-putting thing of the restaurant... More

Excellent food which was actually better than I've had in Australia ! Unsure at first because there were no patrons compared to surrounding restaurants, which soon changed once we sat & ordered. Very nice staff, attentive & hospitable - really enjoyed it 😊

Best Parma and chips ever, better than home. Service was awesome, fantastic staff. A little expensive and perhaps a quiet night so a fairly dull vibe but the Parma and steak sandwich ticked every box and then some..... Need some comfort food...look no further.

We stayed there one night, the room was clean, the owner and staff very friendly and accommodating. We only had breakfast there which really wasn't great, most expensive toast I think I ever had and coffee wasn't good either. But generally would stay again. Kip 120 000 excluding breakie

Looking at the negative food reviews, and the reaction of the management that "99%" of reviews don't agree with them, I'll have to join the 1% of dissenting voices and risk the manager's ire. The fish and chips was very greasy indeed and the chips were decidedly soggy, like they had been cooked in oil that was too cool. The... More

Thankyou for your review and welcome to the 1% club that you mentioned. We would be delighted to have fresh seafood at our doorstep but maybe you were unaware that this is a landlocked country and therefore there is no seafish swimming by thus we have to use imported frozen fish which the majority of our customers enjoy, 60% being... We had 3 appetisers they did as a deal & I had the Aussie burger & my girlfriend had the BBQ chicken pizza for our main course! It was delicious! Highly recommend this to anyone! Especially if your craving some good western food.

Nothing is better than a fan, cold beer and watch the world go by. Take a seat on the first floor. We had some sausage to go with the beer. Excellent combination, but other than that we missed some variety in food options on the menu, so we didn't return.

I love a cold beer on a hot day and this is the place to get it after touring around Luang Prabang. Have visited several times since for refreshments and also ate lunch one day. Meals are not cheap by Laos standards but they are huge and tasty - ideal if you are craving for non-Asian food.

Thanks for a great review. Dropping in more than once is always appreciated by our staff here and we were pleased you enjoyed the cold beer and the extra big "Pub Style" meals that we serve. We look forward to your return. More

After 3 months travelling S.E. Asia the occasional bit of homesickness does seem to strike every now and again. That is not a problem in Luang Prabang ... just go to John's Aussie Bar and Guesthouse. The food is all Australian as taught to the locals by John himself ... a keen Australian cookery buff. If you want something different... More
