Description: Excellant french bakery which also has a branck in Vientiane. Has over 30 types of bread & pastaries. Open from 6.30AM to about 6PM. Very good coffee. I am a regular there for my morning coffee & pastry. I can upload a photo.

I have been in luang prabang 3 times during the past year and found this little cafe with the deliscious bread , cakes and sandwiches, pastries and so on . The cappuccino needs to be more Italian than french, though . The rest is really worth the extra 500 mtrs to go from the most popular place in the middle... More

We stopped in here twice, once for lunch which was delish and the second time for coffee and a piece of cake. My husband raved about the coconut cake - he loved it because it was subtle coconut taste. But the reason for the 5 stars is because of those light, flaky and delectable croissants! Amazing!!! The best French bakery... More

Wow! If you're looking for a place to brunch, this is the one! They offer a wide selection of breakfast and brunch options on the menu. Food is good, especially the bread and pastries... Feels like being back to Europe. Though portions are huge... We could not move anymore afterwards. Well worth a visit.

I enjoyed the food and coffee there. I love the paninis served although their signature dish is croissant. Service is good too and the staff are very friendly.

We visited Le Banneton Cafe on a hot morning following a trip to some of the local sights. We were warm and looking for some cool drinks and a bight to eat. The french style baked items were delightful, so many choices from chocolate croissants, to apple and almond tarts. So yummy! We had a couple of small treats, I... More

Nice breakfast or snack spot. The breakfast menu is great but it is busy in the mornings! The coffee is good but the pastries and bread make the place. Be sure to get one on your visit. Personally I recommend the pan au chocolat. They are stunning!

We stopped by this place for a light snack at lunch time. I ordered the salmon and spinach quiche - very tasty and the side salad they served was fresh with a very light dressing. Certainly worth going. Judging by the way the baguettes were diminishing I would say that's their bestseller but I did not order that cos not... More

We had a lovely afternoon snack here - the tartines were packed full of flavour with a cracking little side salad. Not sure if the menu changes in the evening to something less cafe and more restaurant like, but there's still plenty to whet your appetite.

This was recommended to us by a hotel so we headed here for our lunch, we almost didn't get a table but luckily one just appeared for us by magic.! Very busy for one reason and that is the food is delicious ......we ordered an eggplant salad ad a ham and blue cheese salad and they were both yummy, plus... More

Again, no where near as impressed by this place as the reviews would make it seem. Don't get me wrong, the food is excellent, but I expect a bit more than frowns from people when I'm spending money. Their service needs improving. No wifi here. And they don't even offer a glass of water like in the excellent Le Cafe... More
