Terrific place to have a nice cup of coffee, and interesting pot of tea or to grab a filling bite in the morning. We paid 62,000 kip or USD 7.7 for coffee, tea, a fruit salad and a bread basket, hence we believe it is a good deal. The service was prompt and they have complementary wifi.

This place has excellent ambiance. Even the toilet is given top-notch treatment with some olden posters of Chinese women hung on the wall. Transports one back to the days of old. Old Quarter magic. We'd tried the Vietnam Beef Pho which was on promotion. The beef slices were generous and the soup noodles authentic. We ended up ordering it twice.... More

Just had an excellent brunch at cafe ban. I had the petite set which came with baguettes and homemade jam. Very crisp and fluffy baguettes, among the better i've had on my travels. My girlfriend had the fried rice which was very clean but a little weak on the spicyness scale. We asked for fresh chilis and got it instantly,... More

This ought to be a better experience as its owned by L'Elephant, one of the very best restaurants in town, in Laos and in Asia. Yet its just average. Very disappointing. The coffee is average at best and the bagette also average is one is being generous. Saffronnis a much better bet. Great organic Laos coffee. A short walk from... More

This café was recommended by our tour guide as a good place to stop during our free time for coffee and a croissant and people watch during the day, and as an excellent and reasonably price place for dinner. We managed to work in a day time visit, and we weren't disappointed. The service was excellent, and it's a peaceful... More

This place has one of the best locations in town, along with many cafes and restaurants on the same street this was the best. Try the smoked ham pizza, really delicious with excellent fresh ingredients. Desserts are great too.

We stopped here for lunch when the temperature outside got too much for more sightseeing. The restaurant was full so we were pleased to get the last small table underneath a fan. Lunch was pleasant , we had salads and some fries, but the highlight was the delicious lemon tart. Probably the best I have ever eaten , with really... More

Good food to be had, of course its pricier than local places, but the quality is good and it has a range of western and lao dishes.

Yes, greeted by friendly staff who's first gesture is to offer a free glass of water. That's the sign of a top quality eatery anywhere in the world in my book. Great Latte and Croissant plus all the usual cakes and cafe Fayre is served here. Comfortable seating and free wifi make this a great place to chill and feel... More

This cafe is on the main street of Luang Prabang, we sat out the front one morning and had a coffee while the last of the monks went by on their alms round. It's a very western style place with espresso coffee and pastries, as well as more substantial breakfasts and lunch dishes. A good stop for when you're missing... More
