Ate here given the reputation of L'Elephant which has a common owner. Reasonably priced but food was average at best. Over long and confusing menu which did raise a chuckle when they list beer lao in the soft drinks section.

This cafe is located across from the primary school on the main street. The food was excellent. There was a selection of French pasties, French food, Lao food and Western food. The staff were friendly and could speak very good English. It was a great place for watching the world go by. In fact, so great that I actually returned... More

This is the place to come if you like soups. Especially the Wonton soup with ravioli. It's the best I have ever tried ! The restaurant is nice and quiet in a nice part of the main street of Luang Prabang. It's a perfect place for lunch and dinner. We came several time during our stay and we look forward... More

Situated in the main street opposite the Primary School and housed in one of the original Luang Prabang shop houses. More cafe style, but very well done. Great European & Lao dishes at moderate prices. The set menu is great value. Being one of the "Elephant" stable of eating houses means good food and excellent service. deserts are sometimes 50%... This is the café that we just kept returning to for lunch, dinner or just a drink and cake. Food and service are spot on and other people also thought so too as we missed out on a table at dinner one night. The European food was excellent which is not always the case where you get an interpretation of... More

I recently had lunch at this cafe. The Croque Monsieur and salad were both excellent and the coffee served in a pot was generous and delicious. The service was very attentive and my water glass was never empty. I also appreciated that they had newspapers available so I was able to catch up on news from the Bangkok Post and... More

We had lunch here twice it was so good! Both the adults and kids loved the vibe and the food. Lots of variety for the food - great asian as well as french options.

Had lunch here. The cafe is cute and my bf liked what he ordered alright. My food tasted interesting but I regret it now as a full order of the chicken liver pâté is too much for one person to eat by themselves. Definitely should have been shared. 2 days later and my stomach is still upset in the traveling... More

A brilliant place to start your Luang Prabang day as a visitor, catch up on your family news whilst drinking coffee and eating French pastries. My husband's favourite place for breakfast when in town before he goes riding his bike along the banks of the Mekong. Wonderful.
