If you love bananas like I do then you MUST try their banana tatine. It is soft, gooey with a light crust, VERY 'banana-y'(not really a word, but you get the idea. There is NO doubt you're eating bananas) with more bananas and banana compote on top. OMG. A very nice thing about the cafe is that there are outlets... More

This is classic lighter french fare (although they do offer some Lao dishes as well), great baguette sandwiches, quiche lorraine, croque monsieur etc, all served in a lovely atmospheric location on the main street. I love Lao food but if you need a break, this is the place to go!

My favourite restaurant in Luang Prabang. Excellent food and desserts, lovely staff and fair prices. I look forward to coming back here on my next trip!

We visited this and their partner restaurant multiple times during our short trip to Luang Prabang as the food is just great! The buffalo steak is very tender and cooked exactly as you wish. The lemon tart is one of the bests I've had in South East Asia and a reason to come back! Besides this, they offer local food... More

Some of the best breakfasts I have ever had. Real French influence with fresh croissants and mini baguettes, as well as home made jam. Evening meals were also excellent, and service was friendly and efficient

This is a nice little cafe on the main drag in Luang Prabang... We stopped for a small sugar hit and the lemon/citron tart was absolutely yummy... Definitely one to try...

Le Cafe Ban is an institution in LP. Its one of those places you go for coffee and the next thing you find is that you have been there for 3 hours...its a mixture of its laid back ambience, good free wi fi and excellent selection of food and drinks. We went for coffee and had excellent tart au citron... More

Terrific place to have a nice cup of coffee, and interesting pot of tea or to grab a filling bite in the morning. We paid 62,000 kip or USD 7.7 for coffee, tea, a fruit salad and a bread basket, hence we believe it is a good deal. The service was prompt and they have complementary wifi.
