Incredible pastries

Came here an embarrassing 5 times over 11 days. 3 of those times I enjoyed the amazing tarte citron. It is heavenly. Wife and I both agree it's the best pastry we've ever had Good coffee to go with it in a good set menu. I'm just annoyed I missed out on the other two times. The croissant on... read more

Had trouble finding reliable Wi-Fi anywhere in Luang Prabang. This café offers a latte you can depend on and Wi-Fi you can depend on. Hot chocolate comes in a large teapot. Breakfast options have everything from Lao noodle soup to a basket of croissants. I think you can't go wrong with any choice. Wi-Fi might be limited to a two... More

Had a wonderful lunch at le cafe on our first day in LP. It was recommended by our hotel and it didn't disappoint. Very cute ambiance.

We were shopping and decided to stop for something to eat. A nice surprise. We ordered a variety of Laotian dishes and all were delicious so we ordered more. We completed the meal with three different desserts. Terrific FYI we never eat big lunches. That says it all!

Delicious array of local Laotian dishes (including exotic tasting menus of local tribe's/villages' specialties). Great and fast service. The smoked coconut drink is like heaven!

We had a surfeit of Lao food and stomachs were suffering! A light break with a baguette and French food was just what we needed to set us up for the following day

we have had several light meals here over the past few days and strongly recommend. The baguette sandwiches are excellent for a light lunch and good to get as a "take out" if you will be on the road somewhere without surety of food. Pastries are great - we had dessert there each night after eating dinner at other restaurants.... More

If you love bananas like I do then you MUST try their banana tatine. It is soft, gooey with a light crust, VERY 'banana-y'(not really a word, but you get the idea. There is NO doubt you're eating bananas) with more bananas and banana compote on top. OMG. A very nice thing about the cafe is that there are outlets... More
