Blue Lagoon is easy to find being on a road just need to night market and opposite a temple. The restaurant is back off the road and set in a nice garden with the option to sit inside (in airconditioning) or outside. There were many staff around and we found out that it is also a training restaurant. The staff... More

We found this restaurant on TA, and the rating didn't let us down. Don't let the side street enter emcee put you off, when you round the corner it is an oasis of calm, beautifully set out in wood. We had some very good food, and the service was fantastic throughout, helpful and quick but without grabbing your plates. We... More

We went to this restaurant because we read the reviews on trip advisor. My god, what a dissapointment. The ambiance looks great (that must be said: but very european) but that is all. When you sit down the nightmare and freakshow begins. The food was extremly overpriced (about 3 tot 5 times the normal price) and it was very very... More

Nobody fussier than me but it was perfect. The service and attention were second to none. Beautiful food that was beautifully presented. Only slightly more expensive but worth every penny. Still not as expensive as home prices. Ate here twice. The best best restaurant in Laos!

We had a really nice meal here, with great service and in a nice setting outside. Would go back again.

The best meal we've had on our travels so far, not just in Luang Prabang. The service is impeccable as is the attention to detail. The new surroundings are beautiful and so peaceful. I would recommend the Luang Prabang sausage and the Mok as they were simply stunning. I wish we had discovered this place sooner!

Great atmosphere, service stunning and perfect, best food in town. High quality in products cooked to perfection. Forget about the slightly higher prices - its worth every single KIP.

We spent considerable time reviewing the best restaurants in Luang Prabang. We enjoyed our dining at Blue Lagoon to the extent we came back for a second dining experience. This restaurant is made special by the waiters(and their attention to detail), quality of food and the outside layout and ambience. This was our best dining experience in Luang Prabang

Blue Lagoon recently moved to a new location (just a few shops down from the old place) and it's absolutely stunning. The restaurant is now tucked away down a small lane, the garden ambience is elegant, lovely and intimate, like dining in a private garden. The additional indoor dining area is beautifully done. Though you are inside and enjoying the... More

Much that's on the menu here is based on traditional Lao cooking, but it's been updated to bring it to a level of sophistication similar to what's happened to Peruvian cuisine. My wife and I had a soup of Green Papaya with Coconut Milk, Pork with Betel Nut, and Larb, the Laotian standard but here exceptionally good. We liked it... More
