Surprisingly great restaurant

I had my first meal (dinner) in Luang Prabang at this restaurant with my colleagues. There was a great variety of choices from local (Laotian) to western food here. The food at this restaurant is the best I've ever had. The staff was great and so kind. Went back many times during my stay.

Higher end than most of the places that crowd the Main Street of Luang Prabang, Blue Lagoon is pure class to the end. Exceptional food (have the ravioli) and great service surrounded by an appealing atmosphere make Blue Lagoon a "must"

The service here was excellent, and the setting is beautiful. We enjoyed our meal, but thought is was expensive compared to other meals we had had in Luang Prabang which were just as good.

This is an oasis of great food and wine in a beautiful setting. It makes a change from the miles of restaurants that serve local dishes consisting mainly of various ingredients from the Mekong River. You can eat inside or out and choose dishes from all over Europe as well as local and fusion dishes. Half way through a tour... More

We stayed in Luang Prabang for a week and tried quite a few restaurants during that time. The food was a combination of Swiss and Laotian even featuring fondue on the menu. There are tables outside or inside in the air conditioning - a must for this time of year in Luang Prabang. The staff are very attentive and professional.... More

Only came here for dessert and drinks as a treat and everything was top notch. The decor and setting itself to the choice on the menu, service and of course the food. Would love to go back for more. Definetely worth paying that little bit more for!

Admittedly this is the priciest restaurant we visited in Laos (mains are around 150,000K and desserts around the 60,000K mark), but the food is excellent and the service is unparalleled. The staff are incredibly attentive and the chef even came out at the end of our meal to ensure we had enjoyed the food, which was very sweet. If you're... More

Best Restaurant we went to in Luang Prabang. We were first welcomed by the kind staff and they asked us if we would like to sit outdoors or inside, we chose to eat inside. They had a variety of European dishes, Laos cuisine, and drinks available which were more expensive than other food selections in the area but it's really... More
