We had an incredible meal. The food was delicious; the presentation was exquisite; the service was attentive without being intrusive. Our table of 4 spent almost 2-1/2 hours enjoying the evening and never felt rushed. From Lao standards it may not be cheap, but from U.S. standards it was a very good deal. We met the owner; an apparent German... More

Dined here New Years Eve and again two nights later and both times we had tasty, safe meals. It is not cheap by Laos standards but was worth every cent.

Very fine service and delicious Lao food. Service was timely, friendly and very professional. The food was tasty and good variety for both vegetarians and omnivores.

Great food and atmosphere! The chef really knows what he's doing! The schnitzel is better than the on I had in Vienna last month!

The setting for this restaurant is not encouraging, but gird up your loins and step out to a lovely court yard setting, with lots of greenery. It is run by a friendly and affable Swiss man who sold us a very expensive kirsch, which turned out to be French, which was a bit disappointing, but it was good. The food... More

Though they also serve many of the traditional local dishes you find in other LP restaurnats, the inventive special dishes of the chef and the beautiful atmosphere are the reasons to come here. Gorgeous restaurant inside and out on the patio, topped off by a varied menu of delicious food.

I reviewed this restaurant last year and though it has moved and no longer has the firebaskets in the garden the food is still brilliant and inventive and the servicre impeccable. The jury is still out about which is the best and L'Elephant is highly rated too. I can't really say but this one should not be missed.

Amazing place for diner!!! We have been there 2 times ! The Swiss Owner is always there to make sure everything is perfect. The staff is so nice and smilling !! Probably one of the best restaurant for dinning in Luang Prabang. Recommandation : Soupe a l'Onion and the chiken brochette ;) !!!

Had the pleasure of dining here during our vacation. Food was delicious. Cocktails and wine selection were great as well. The service was on point. I would definitely make this a priority if I ever found myself back in Luang Prabang.
