Well decorated cafe, good taste coffee but average bakery. River-front seats are wonderful. In-door seats are also available if you were hot from the sun.

We popped in for a late breakfast. I had an iced americano and toast with boiled eggs. Knowing that the eggs might be too soft for my taste, I asked them to boil the eggs for ten minutes. I was a bit shocked to pay 47000 kips for a coffee, two eggs and two pieces of toast. After a short... More

This place had consistently great food and drinks. The prices are very affordable too. Great location near the Mekong and a short walk to the night market.

A hot humid day when we came across this coffee shop. It is nicely air conditioned with muffins etc and a couple of iced lattes went down well. Good location with helpful staff.

I haven't even been home 7 days and I am daydreaming about travelling back to Luang Prabang so I can have eat at Saffron. Breakfast is by far my favourite meal to go out for, so I've had a lot of amazing breakfasts. The Mango and Banana French Toast along with a large LP latte is a breakfast that I... More

The food here is really good quality and tasty as well. The story behind the place is really impressive. Definitely worth a visit while you are there.

This cafe sells coffee planted in the highlands in a environmentally responsible manner. It also supports the income of many hill people who grow, harvest and supply the coffee beans to Saffron Caffe. This cafe is in sight of the Mekong River and the coffee here is one of the best in town. Meals, cakes and sandwiches are also served... More

We only went there for a coffee. They offer a few tables on the river bank. The coffee was good, the service needs some improvements.

unfortunately they had to change the location, I like it better before. espresso is still the best in luang prabang (at least to where I've been) in terms of flavors, balance and intensity, you really taste the freshness of their beans. staff is very friendly, let's hope they can keep the place running as it was rather empty when we... We sat outside in their small seating area by the river, for the great view. We didn't realise that you had to order inside first but the friendly staff came and told us. We had planned to have a latte and cappuccino only, but when "he" had to go in to order, he was tempted by the banana muffins. The... More
