I am born and raised in Lahore and i advise the visitors to visit Cuckoo's Den to see the beauty from the top while eating the delicious food. Its a bit expansive but worth paying for the view and atmosphere

For the price and the food quality, you are only really there for the views, which are indeed great, looking over the Badshahi Mosque and large parts of the old city of Lahore. The decoration, paintings depicting daily life in the area, especially those of the area's sex workers and support staff, are compelling and worthy of any art gallery.... More

Well the food was nice, not my priority though. Located in the red light district, we walked past a hall adorned with paintings that were an homage to the working girls in the locale. Unique muslim sterile environment. Basic food. A unique experience of going back in time. Friendly staff and good food.

I had chance to visit this place, food is average by Pakistani standards. Staff is very rude, they serve you like they doing customers a favour. Best thing from this roof top restaurant is views of Badshahi Mosque and Lahore Fort, that balance out your visit to this place.

Many will tell you that Cuckoo's is overrated, which is why, despite two previous trips to Lahore, I wasn't that keen on trying it out. I was clearly missing out. The ambiance is superb and the meal was one of the best I've ever had in Lahore. (and, if you know anything about Lahori food, that's saying a lot!)

The restaurant is located at the rooftop right next to the mosque, and the view was amazing. Heaters under the table makes sure you stay warm even though the tempareture was only 5 degrees celcius. The food was good, and perfectly spiced!
