Description: A short walk from Red Canal Hotel but take a torch as limited street lighting. A great bistro style restaurant serving a large range if European (Try the Beef steak or fish and chips) and Asian food, main courses K5000 – K7000. A good selection of French and Australian wine starting from K12,500 per bottle. Fun atmosphere with fast friendly service. Busy on the nights we were there with mainly a younger local crowd so get there early for a table.

Went here for lunch and had a pizza. Wasn't the best pizza I ever had but it was the worst either. The price was reasonable. Nice quite place with friendly staff.

I found the reviews to be over hyped. The service was poor. We were never sure when our drinks or food was going to be served. Twice my drink order was delivered incorrectly. The food was average to poor and not delivered hot. There are better western alternatives. They rave about "western" ownership but I think they must be absentee.... More

It is situated near the Moat, the most famous place in Mandalay. Food is delicious and price fair. Good service. Recommend!!

We only went here as it was close to our accommodation and opposite the old Royal Palace moat so thought it may have views across to the walls, plus it was meant to have good coffee. It felt like a Hard Rock cafe wanna be. It was full of locals which surprised us!

After our sightseeing tour of Mandalay we wanted to sit down and have some refreshments. Somehow we choose Cafe City. Inside it's outdated, has some American slogans and signs and the service was not very friendly. Other patrons included locals as well as other tourists. Overall it was okay but did not strike me as special.

Ok western food with a Burmese touch and filter coffee. Mango smoothie nice. Grilled fish with coconut good - came with a skewer of veg and side salad. Fish and chips less so - very thick batter. Complimentary garlic bread and fresh fruit. Free WiFi. One of the orders was forgotten, waiter was in a rush.

Easy to find, not overcrowded, decent selection of foods, including Western. Unpressured. Still not sure about the country and western accompaniment, but maybe just me, and not too loud anyway

I like most the chance to taste real style from different regions of Europe. But price can be higher than expected for a local traveller.

This place is just opposite the royal palace and after a visit to the palace . They have wide selection of menu with dishes being a little expensive but the taste is very good . In the afternoons you can sit by the window by the roadside and enjoy a good view and have a good meal
