Cuisines: European

Description: A short walk from Red Canal Hotel but take a torch as limited street lighting. A great bistro style restaurant serving a large range if European (Try the Beef steak or fish and chips) and Asian food, main courses K5000 – K7000. A good selection of French and Australian wine starting from K12,500 per bottle. Fun atmosphere with fast friendly service. Busy on the nights we were there with mainly a younger local crowd so get there early for a table.

When it all gets too much and you need to have your dose of western food and atmosphere this US inspired diner is the place to go.Great toasted club sandwiches, fries, blt, burgers, soda etc.

Probably the worst burger and fries I have ever had. Service was okay.Would only recommend going there for a beer as it was cold and cheap.

It's situated on the road that goes along the east side of the palace. Nothing fancy, but very amicable and chatty staff, great choice of both Asian and european dishes, friendly atmosphere, tastier dishes than even the top dollar eateries we visited in Mandalay. Do try it. You will love it!

Good food for both local and foreigner... If you are going there during dinner hours please make reservation. If they are busy they might forget what you order...

I was not so impressed by this place. It seemed popular as it was very busy, but the service was only OK and the food was pretty poor. I wouldn't go back.

We enjoyed the atmoshere at this restaurant. Busy but not too noisy. Mostly locals eating there! Sort of a western cafe feel! Food was very good. We could have walked from the Red Canal hotel however road was very dark with lots of trip hazards! Hotel arranged for their car to take us and pick us up later. Would definitely... More

Not only good Western food but some tasty Asian-fusion dishes. Good wine and beer, and wonderful rum sours (a staple in Burma). Pleasant for lunch, maybe a bit of a café for dinner.

More a warning. The map has this restaurant in completely the wrong place. Do not trust proximity searches or map based navigation. Go retro and use the address!
