Just eat here:) it is worth it, not greasy and the food is excellent. Recommend it all day long. Not sure how to get here as we were driven everywhere.

I must confess that the name had me smitten. The restaurant is situated about 20 minutes drive away from the Mandalay Hill Resort and it is recommended that you call to reserve a table but when we turned up, it was pretty empty. Last orders are at 8:30 pm and the restaurant closes at 9:30 pm so get there early.... More

The restaurant is set in a beautiful traditional pavillion, in an open and nice area. The food was really good, specially the beef curry and the banana cake. What was really impressive, nevertheless was the service. It was great and incredibely kind. I would go back there, for sure.

Mandalay has a lot to experience and to see. It is impossible to see everything, you have to make choices. Mandalay, 10 years ago, was quiet with no traffic, no tourist and cheap. Today with the 300$/Chinese motorbikes, you see them everywhere and the taxis to, So just be ready to hear every five minutes someone offering you a taxi,... More

To my understanding note the restaurant has moved a few months ago and now i think on 54 st. that is a little farther away from the center - which led to lots of misunderstandings with our taxi drivers... A few big tour groups were there so we felt a bit lost with our table for 2. The food and... More

We were charmed by the atmosphere and the warm welcome we got here. You enter via a candle lit pathway of red Shan paper umbrellas and the whole place does feel like you're getting a little bit of old Mandalay. The food was excellant and service efficient and helpful. All in all we had a really lovely evening here. I'd... More

We came here for a late lunch, and it was really good. The service is excellent, the dishes on offer are all really well thought-through, with interesting combinations of flavours. For us, it was the best Burmese food that we had had in Myanmar. It is a little pricey, especially if you have been eating cheaply in tiny local restaurants,... More

Though the food was quite adequate, they are catering to coach loads of mature age tourists, particularly unauthentic, service was fine, price was ok, but not very adventurous

Great tasting food. Do try the Myanmar food, the curries are very tasty without being spicy. Strange location, it used to be by green elephant but moved way out

A little bit of Mandalay is located in an industrialised area and is best accessed by taxi. The decor in the restaurant sets the mood for a very good meal. Food was varied and inexpensive and the drinks were very cheap as long as you steer away from wine. They serve a variety of styles from Thai to Burmese.
