Our restaurant " A little bit of Mandalay" was born on 8th April, 2002. Opened the Tavern (Inn) in November 2013 with 24 Twin-bedded rooms. We never have had a chain-restaurant nor a franchise in any city (Bagan, Yangon, Inle etc.. ) In Myanmar. Both the Restaurant & Tavern are located only in Mandalay as per above address, and registered in Mandalay. We have this ONE & ONLY establishment in Mandalay only.

Simple and away from hustle and bustle

This is a good hotel with affordable and neat and clean basic rooms . They also have a good breakfast buffet with excellent options for dinner and room service. The rates are not very high and though you are near to mandalay city centre you are still far away from all the hustle and bustle.

The food here was wonderful. The setting of the restaurant was very beautiful as well. We were able to walk to the restaurant from our nearby hotel. The waiters were very friendly and even brought us blankets when they saw that we were cold and we didn't have jackets with us. Evenings get chilly in these semi-outdoor restaurants. Very recommendable... More

Nice place, good food, a multi course dinner for about 10$ but quite high quality. Had to insist to get the WiFi code which I was told to be reserved for the hotel guests but got it at the end as I said I will report it here. But for the essential part, the dinner was very good and we... More

We dined here one evening as it wasn't too far from our hotel (take a torch if walking), seems to be popular with tour groups, the setting and restaurant are both lovely and clean and the service is great. I ordered a vegetable curry which was a little on the bland side. Hence the average review,

This was part of my tour group's dining out for lunch. We sat in the open air, under cover and were served very nice food by very attentive staff.

I had a fixed menu of Burmese cuisine at this pretty place and it was a great way of trying several different typical local dishes.

We walked to this restaurant from the Triumph hotel (need a torch). It was stuffed with a few busloads of team tourists, as there was nothing else in the area we still had dinner here. Staff was friendly even though they were very busy. Food was better than we had in other places in Myanmar but we didn't go for... More

The restaurant and hotel were very clean and neat. The food was good. The staff were very friendly and knew a bit of English. The cost was about $40 US. I stayed there 3 nights and would certainly stay again!

This restaurant was Cruiseco's lunch choice for the Downstream Irrawaddy Cruise from Mandalay to Yangon. After a very bumpy ride down narrow streets we were certainly pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious. A good variety of dishes and more importantly the bathroom facilities were excellent.
