Our restaurant " A little bit of Mandalay" was born on 8th April, 2002. Opened the Tavern (Inn) in November 2013 with 24 Twin-bedded rooms. We never have had a chain-restaurant nor a franchise in any city (Bagan, Yangon, Inle etc.. ) In Myanmar. Both the Restaurant & Tavern are located only in Mandalay as per above address, and registered in Mandalay. We have this ONE & ONLY establishment in Mandalay only.

From a Vegetarians point of view

I had food there twice. The food was good really, but they lacking choices for Vegetarians, that is why I rate this restaurant rather low. Service is great, the food I ended having was nice. Pricewise it is on the upside compared with other places in Mandalay.

The restaurant is located on a dirt road. The service is very good, local boys are very attentive. The food comes in large portions and are very well prepared. Worth the visit.

Brought to the restaurant with a tour group. Several individuals had issues the next day. The guide indicated this happened before, and he was going to have the company change restaurants.

New location is really hard to find - but we managed it on our own, biking to the restaurant! Nice setting with quiet outdoor seating. Traditional burmese food, good but not excellent

We visited A Little Bit of Mandalay during our stay at Mandalay in December 2014. It is a cool and quiet place. Nice setting. Toilets are very clean. The food are average. I like passion fruit juice there. In my opinion, it is a bit expensive.

We had dinner here, the restaurant is big and set in a quiet rural location. The food is very tasty with a wide variety of dishes. It has a good atmosphere and the toilets are clean. Staff are friendly.

Nice and cozy restaurant but most diners are guests at the hotel. My driver had a hard time finding the place. Food is nice but pricey compared to other places. We had fish, curry, fried pork, salad, juice. Total cost 25,000kyat. Overall I think not worth going through hassle to find the place.

We unintentionally went here twice. Once with our guide for lunch during our tour of Mandalay and once in the evening when we walked there from The Hotel by The Red Canal - take a torch! The restaurant of this name has now relocated to a less convenient location and the restaurant on the original site is where we went... More

Based upon the recommendation of our hotel we ventured out for dinner at this somewhat hard to find restaurant. Had there been other options nearby we likely would have sought another option since we were turned off by the large open air facility with space for tour bus parking. Proceeding us into the dining room was a large Chinese group... More
