We ate in a nice terrace near the swimming pool. The food was very good and the service very nice. The price is about 10$ a plate but you get for you money. If you take lunch in this restaurant you can access to the pool of the hôtel!

Let me be clear from the very beginning: this review refers to the "Spice Garden" only, as an independent eatery/restaurant and has nothing to do with my opinion of the Hotel by the red canal that houses it!!! We visited it twice in early august, while staying at the Hotel by the red canal. We found it clean but that's... More

We enjoyed our meal here so much we came back again the next night! It was certainly the best Indian food we had in Burma, the tandoori chicken and naan breads were delicious, and the staff very friendly!

Ordered both Garlic and Kashmiri naan and each arrived llike a carpenter's dream: flat as a board and just as tasty. Despite the oven these naan were nowhere near standard for puffyness, taste or consistency. The vegetable curry was acceptable but not very flavorful. My mutton dish was OK but for thiese prices it should have been of exceptional quality.... More

This is the restaurant at the Hotel by the Red Canal and overlooks the small hotel pool and garden .Air conditioned, the staff are friendly and attentive and you can see the breads being baked in the Tandoor oven in the kitchen .Had 3 meals here and enjoyed each one greatly . All freshly cooked , and appetising .

Very popular with local people and with an excellent choice of dishes. Relaxing atmosphere and friendly, helpful waiters.

This hotel is owned by the Hotel by the Red Canal, which we stayed at. We ate at the restaurant once. The Hotel suggested the restaurant would be busy and we should book, but it was very quiet when we were there. The restaurant is very nice and the service was very good. Our Indian meal was very nice and... More

A great little taste of Indian food. We arrived without reservation as non guests and they quickly made us a table upstairs. Very friendly and accommodating staff! The food was excellent typical upscale Indian and reasonably priced for the setting. We would definitely come back for a nice meal!

We came as non-residents, and were warmly welcomed with a resfreshing cold towel and ginger tea.Its the kind of attention you get very seldom nowadays, even in Asia.We could have taken advantage of a free cocktail by the pool, but decided to go straight to the aircon restaurant, as we walked a lot today, both in the Sagaging Hills and...
