The food and the welcome were so good that we ate twice here. The best meal we've had in Myanmar. Make sure you visit. Chapati time starts at 5pm daily. Huge thanks to Usman and his team.

We had the chicken and the mutton curries. They were both delicious! And we loved the chapattis. This is a street food stall, where you can sit on tiny chairs at a tiny table. The food is cheap so totally worth it! If we would have stayed longer in mandalay we would have definitely come back.

In fairness this was the last meal I ate in Myanmar and I was just about sick to the back teeth of the salty, oily, tepid curry on offer throughout Myanmar. I assumed this would be different, Indian curry as opposed to Burmese. I was wrong. It was the same old greasy chicken leg in the same old ubiquitous Burmese... More

Dont expect luxury, it is a simple street restaurant. Butt hef ood is excellent, and the young waiters very attentive. The make the chapatis straight on a street oven, and usman is always around to make sure everyone is happy. We were the only foreigners att he time we ate here, but the placew as full! We dont eat meat,... More

Very nice curry chicken and chapati. The kids working at the shop can speak simple English and more than happy to help on choosing the food. Glad that we spent good time enjoying the food and people watching.

It really is an outdoor restaurant on a streetcorner! We weren't quite sure how to find it - but once you find the right intersection it's obvious where it is (yeah, the corner with lots of locals and a few tourists...) The friendly staff was great and we got some very good food - but no drinks, the level of... More

Once we found this place, we ate there every night. It's only at night and table are on the side walk of the 28 street and 82. For less than 5000 Kyat for 2, you can have a meat and vegetables curry and 4 chapati if you really hungry. We specially recommended the minced mutton curry Sur le coin de... More

We really enjoyed dinner here tonight. The chicken was a bit oily but the chapattis were first class! Very good value for money. Try the beef and also the veg curry.
