The menu seemed promising, many exciting opitions to a good price. Had the couscous once, the coconut shrimps once - both rather tasteless. Also, a bit chaotic with World cup football AND background music at the same time. Still, the second best restaurant I visited...

Great food and great service received at Bonapartes. We went along on the recommendation of our hotel rep, and were very pleased we did! The Thai steak and the steak stuffed with Roquefort were lovely, as was the chocolate fondant dessert! Four of us ate two courses, drank 2 bottles of wine and 14 bottles of beer cost was about... Short 10 dina taxi ride from P.E.K. Three course meal, bottle of wine, for two, just over 100 dina. Mrs had prawns, then chicken, I had beef satay and a steak, both had creme brulee, excellent all courses.

Arrived and met by pleasant staff, was sat at a lovely table, the chair were great very trendy and quirky, we were left alone to enjoy our meal but our glasses were filled and we were looked after with having to rush we had a break between courses which we like, would definitely recommend.

Here you really can enjoy a lovely dinner with nice european, italian or tunisian dishes. There is a kind of romantic atmosphere and the wines are really good! After your late dinner you can enjoy a nice cocktail downstairs in the cafe ;)

Having lived in Tunisia for many years, this restaurant became a favourite of mine, it has a wide choice of menu with some firm favourites. I dined here with family& friends (lunches & dinners), had some great girl's nights out here and it was also a favourite of my children, who loved the deep fried cheese, followed by something from... I have dined here on numerous occasions. Always excellent. I usually have a table that I automatically go to. Not the other night. I was shown up a few steps to the area at the rear. I can not think of a better place for a romantic evening. Soft lights, sweet music, excellent service, superb food, fine wine. Sadly I... More

The decor is very loud think animal print and bright pink. Staff had no idea if wine was dry or sweet. Fish carpaccio served frozen although they took it away without much argument. Steak was nice. Overall not terrible but also not brilliant.
