Had lunch here between visiting the archaeological museum and the Dar Essid museum as it's half way between the two. When we arrived we were the only customers but by the time we left it had filled with locals (always a good sign). We ordered tuna briks and salad to start with freshly squeezed orange juice along side. Both the... More

After a hot dusty afternoon in the medina we called in for a drink. Worth the walk up to the roof terrace watching Sousse go home and get busy! There was a wedding starting below so we were entertained by some lovely music. Well worth hunting out, I'm only sorry we wasn't hungry as the reviews of the food sound... More

Just a few yards from the police station just inside the walls around the Medina. Hunt this place out whilst in the Souks. Freshly squeezed juice to die for on a hot day. The evening meals are cheap and very good. Very nice family run restaurant. .

Stopped off here after getting well and truly lost in the souk. As two women travelling alone we have been used to quite alot of hassle but not in this wonderful little cafe. Very welcoming frontage tucked up next to the medina walls and a calm, cool interior. We were offered a view from the roof but our feet couldn't... More

We walked to this restaurant while going in the north area of the medina. The place is nice and comfy. They speak english perfectly and food is ok-good without being too expensive. However, I find many plates to be modified to adapt to foreigner taste (and so prices).

Located in the Medina of Sousse, Cafe Seles is surrounded by rich Tunisian history. From the rooftop terrace there are amazing views of the Med and the surrounding city. I ate here often during my stay in Sousse; the food is delicious and is a must for anyone who desires well prepared genuine North African food. The owners are genuinely... More

Traveling in Sousse with friends, Cafe Seles became our go to breakfast and dinner spot. Sami, the owner, is kind, happy to chat, and has incredible english. The food was tasty, and the dinners were always spot on, and unique. Cous cous, fish, tasty soup on a rainy day. We trusted him to choose the meal and always enjoyed it.

The food was excellent and the owners are some of the kindest people I've ever met. I had breakfast and dinner here many of the days and the tea and coffee are great too. The rooftop has a beautiful view of the Med for nice days as well. By far the best restaurant I've been to in Sousse.
