Located in the Medina of Sousse, Cafe Seles is surrounded by rich Tunisian history. From the rooftop terrace there are amazing views of the Med and the surrounding city. I ate here often during my stay in Sousse; the food is delicious and is a must for anyone who desires well prepared genuine North African food. The owners are genuinely... More

Traveling in Sousse with friends, Cafe Seles became our go to breakfast and dinner spot. Sami, the owner, is kind, happy to chat, and has incredible english. The food was tasty, and the dinners were always spot on, and unique. Cous cous, fish, tasty soup on a rainy day. We trusted him to choose the meal and always enjoyed it.

The food was excellent and the owners are some of the kindest people I've ever met. I had breakfast and dinner here many of the days and the tea and coffee are great too. The rooftop has a beautiful view of the Med for nice days as well. By far the best restaurant I've been to in Sousse.

We recently visit this place every year, where we always get the best of the kind owners. Because of the nice people, excellent food and the pleasant atmosphere, we offer this restaurant to everybody. Hopefully, in this year as well, we can go back to this place.

We found this place by chance, having noticed the roof terrace, which attracted us in. We only wanted a coffee, and so ordered a Turkish coffee, which was very good. It also came with a sweet sticky cake, which we didn't ask for, but was a nice touch. The coffees were 2 dinas each, which is not the cheapest, but... More

After wandering around in the Sousse Medina (on New Year's Eve 2013), we came across this little cafe. Ready for a drink, we entered. We were shown up the stairs - up and up - to the rooftop terrace. Definitely not the best view in the world, nor the best furniture. But very pleasant all the same. Prompt, friendly service... More

Had a great couscous lunch at this place. Spiced just right with a bit of a kick. Would def recommend. The mint tea though was way too strong and tasted terrible. Maybe because we were the only people there and it had been brewing a while? Who knows. Would go there again for the cous cous. Great view from the... More

Close to the archaeological museum at the top end of the Medina. A fine place to eat and a good place to view the Medina from the roof top terrace ... you can see the port and the sea as well.

This summer I had the pleasure of eating 2 meals a day here for a week straight, and It was absolutely wonderful. This lovely Restaurant is hidden gem, run by the two of the friendliest people I've ever met who have the cutest little daughter running around the place constantly. Sammy is a kind man of incredible integrity & culinary... More

My husband and I went to Sousse in July this year. We hadn't done any research beforehand so didn't know that this is the #1 food place to visit on Trip Advisor - we just stumbled upon it after visiting two magnificent museums nearby which we also highly recommend. We were very glad to find this restaurant and it is... More
