Our bill came to about 80TD which is about 27GBP, We had a bottle of wine, entrees each and a main each (we are a couple) and shared a desert. This is expensive in Tunisia but obviously for tourists that is extremely cheap, it is worth it! We went on our last night in Sousse and were really hoping for... More

After experiencing bad food at my half board hotel, i looked on Tripadvisor and found this place about 6-7 minutes walk from my hotel. Rave reviews so I thought Id give it a go. I read the Chateaubriand was excellent so decided to try it (this place is quite a bit more expensive than the usual 10-20 dinar for 3... More

We went here with a friend who lives in Tunisia, other wise we would not have known about Escargot. We went on a really hot evening and sat inside the beautifully cool restaurant. The service was first class, the food amazing and very cheep (compared to the UK) The presentation of the food was spectacular. Knocks socks of English restaurants... More

Le Escargot, its like a boutique flea market with antiques in every nook and cranny. Mr Ali will meet you at the door and seat you on antique looking red velvet chairs. The menu is typical french, the local sea food is very nice, the lamb and veal are delicious. Chase it down with some local wine like Magon or... More

You could easily miss this unassuming spot, buried in an overgrown oasis of greenery on a bleak stretch of avenue lined with defunct beach hotels. Tricked out to look like an 18th cent. French relais with massive dark stone and beam interior, and deep burgundy upholstery and linens, it all seem more than a bit contrived, but a strong menu... More

I like this restaurant having eaten here with friends several times over the years and it is still one of my favourites in Sousse. What I like is the old world charm about the restaurant, the different array of furnishings, paintings and objects scattered around make it rather memorable. I dined here on Friday 11th October, we were a table... More
