Le Escargot, its like a boutique flea market with antiques in every nook and cranny. Mr Ali will meet you at the door and seat you on antique looking red velvet chairs. The menu is typical french, the local sea food is very nice, the lamb and veal are delicious. Chase it down with some local wine like Magon or... More

After my brief trip to Paris I find myself back with Capt Neil Medley. We have moored the yacht in Sousse marina and decided to take lunch. Great choice of local dishes and interesting cocktails. The weather in Tunisia has been great, however there's a storm due so we will take the yacht back in the next few days. Shame... More

You could easily miss this unassuming spot, buried in an overgrown oasis of greenery on a bleak stretch of avenue lined with defunct beach hotels. Tricked out to look like an 18th cent. French relais with massive dark stone and beam interior, and deep burgundy upholstery and linens, it all seem more than a bit contrived, but a strong menu... More

I like this restaurant having eaten here with friends several times over the years and it is still one of my favourites in Sousse. What I like is the old world charm about the restaurant, the different array of furnishings, paintings and objects scattered around make it rather memorable. I dined here on Friday 11th October, we were a table... More

We were a party of six and had a table outside on the terrace. The service was ok, and the food was nothing to complain about. The prices perhaps a little over the tunesian but cheaper than in the most european countries. We had fish, escargots and dessert. We thougt that the food was ok but not very special, but... More

The atmosphere is nice but wasn't too impressed with the food. The serving sizes were rather small. However, if you want to have a romantic evening with nice ambiance, it is great for that.
