We found this place while meandering around Brasov. The prices were a bit of a turnoff, but I figured we'd give it a shot. So glad we did!! Our meals were some of the best food we've ever had. My son had the ribs, and they were the best tasting ribs I've ever sampled! Incredible flavor! Service was pretty typical... More

We come on weekdays at 3 in afternoon and are told the lunch menu is sold out. We believe we are expected to order more expensive food. We just order one main one soup and beer. The quality of food is so so. The wifi is not working but the line us still on. Likely the waiter does not want... More

we found this place thanks to routard guide. it's a bit out of the center, in a very nice area right under the hill (at walking distance from the main square). it has a romantic and warm atmosphere, professional (even if a bit slow) staff, good prices (for italians) and good traditional dishes (we loved sarmale and mamaliga!)

We've visited the place today - Friday, at about 19.30. Our waiter was polite, spoke good English and seated us in a non smoking area. The place contains many traditional dishes and in general a rich menu. All was very tasty, as well a white local wine. The bill was fine, btw. Would definitely go back there!

We had dinner on the terrace;although the waiters saw us come in,nobody brought us any menus for several minutes, so I went and pick some up - they were on a cigarette break apparently. It took a while to get the food, but when it came it was very good and hot so that helped with the overall score. The... More

and keep on walking. As mentioned in many of the reviews below this, they try their hardest to cheat, scam and rip off customers. When you ask about their charges, they suddenly forget their fluent English and scurry away. I travel very frequently and have never wrote a review for any establishment but this particular place has warranted me to... More

Last week I took my parents and 2.5-year-old son to a late lunch to Casa Romaneasca. It was one of the best decisions ever for our holiday, as the food was perfect, the staff very friendly and helpful (and patient with my son, who is quite hyperactive), and just the whole experience of eating outside in the shadow and admiring... This was a very attractive, shady cafe on the square opposite the Church of St. Nicholas. We had lunch of excellent large salads, which were perfect on a hot day. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
