Great selection of wines, helpful staff, educated clientele and a very quiet, pleasant atmosphere over all. The outside seating in summer is just fairytale stuff :)

They don't accept credit card and the food was average. I ordered a salad with cheese and dumplings. I took a bite from the dumplings and left it there. The restaurant has a medieval atmosphere, nice for the ones that like this and because is sort of a basement, the cellular network or internet does not work inside. They don't... More

We were on a tour and had Ben eating pork and cabbage with table wine. We found weinkeller and decided it sounded different enough an d oh, buy, was it. A great selection of wines. We had a bottle of white that was crisp and refreshing. It was local Romanian wine and really rivals a good German dry white. It... More

And open wine. First came the wine. The glasses were dirty. Liptstick imprints. no coment neccessary. 2nd the main course. Not really hot, somehoe stale. But... More

Weinkeller has by far the best ambience, wine selection and food in town! The dishes are simple but delicious. We had the beef stew and cabbage rolls and both were great. As for dessert... The cinnamon icecream is to die for! The house wine is also lovely. Our only disappointment is that we did not discover this place until our... More

We were impressed by the location however some of the dishes were really bad. We have told it to the waitress who was sad to hear it and by the way spilled sauce on one of us's jacket, beg and shirt. The wine was very good.

We ate dinner at this place and asked the waiter for a wine recommendation. His recommendation was perfect. It was a more expensive wine (Euros) but it was a very good and excellent wine. Unfortunately the "sarmale" (cabbage rolls) of my partner where not really hot and as well disappointing for the taste. This is strange as this food is... More

We didn't make a reservation so, although it was a warm evening, we couldn't have a table on the beautiful terrace and settled at a table inside. We waited a while for the menue, as there were only two persons serving and outside it was quite crowded. Still, we enjoyed a lot our food. I really appreciate my grilled peppers... More

This restaurant is located in an alley on the edge of a long staircase. We sat on the entrance of a small courtyard which was picturesque with a clock tower. We ordered a sheep cheese salad, onion pie and German steak. The salad was standard. Onion pie - we expected to be pastry but it came as a slice of... More
