Average Bulgarian restaurant

Food is rather poor, smell inside is rather bad. Nice outdoor seating, Service very average. In general not worth to visit.

We always make sure to have lunch here at least once whenever we are in Bulgaria, either Spring or Summer. The seasonal menu is always interesting and there are traditional Bulgarian dishes you will struggle to find in 'ordinary' restaurants. We have never had any problem with the service but I do have a smattering of Bulgarian so perhaps that... More

Unfortunately upon my return here, the level of service has deteriorated, the ingredients as well. The only dish I can recommend is the fried courgette with yogurt sauce. The salads are bland, due to the hothouse tomatoes used, the meat is from an unknown supermarket quality source, the house wine is subpar and the prices are astronomical! Avoid! The only... More

After being a steady summer customer for nearly 15 years, I must say that I am disappointed. They have eliminated many of the traditional village recipes that I have come to enjoy over the years. The portions are smaller, the bread is not as fresh. The service is uneven and the multi-lingual menu is gone. I fear that this will... More

We ate here on a cool October evening. Consequently, we dined inside. This presents a different experience to outside dining. The character of the building ends at the door. Inside, the place could be a school classroom, nothing special at all. We both chose pork dishes that were well cooked and presented. The salad was tasty. And the bread fresh..... More

Visited this restaurant based on prior high TA Reviews. We were sadly disappointed with both the service and food. Even though there was only one other table of persons dining, who finished up shortly after we arrived, our service was quite uneven, and certainly not 'english-friendly'. Started by ordering a bottle of Red Wine, which was by no means inexpensive;... More

As I mentioned in my mOdus review, the food here is comparable. I liked it so much here we went back again before leaving for the airport. The theme of the place (previously a nunnery, I believe) has been kept alive and it's very cosy. We ate outside both times, which is particularly wonderful in the evening. Food here is... More

This unusual restaurant is located close to the beach on the main road, easy to find, however a little noisy if you are sitting outside. There is a little building which resembles a chapel (however not open) that I can see having a potential for romantic dinners if it is refurbished. For starters, my husband had cheese with honey and... More

Well located beside the naval museum, this restaurant has a nice secluded garden and is just of the tourist track but very close to all amenities. Food was delicious and was great value. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

The staff were friendly and helpful with far better English than our Bulgarian! Fresh baked bread delicious crispy chicken strips and a nun's whisper to die for amongst other dishes split between the two of us plus a wine and a beer all came to 28lv. The staff traditional dress style adds an air of authenticity. If I had to... More
