The food and service was excellent and the winelist was terrific. The garden is the place to eat here, as the restaurant itself is dark and a bit cramped.

Thank you for this review. We really try very hard to keep the restaurant to high standards. The wine list was prized by Wine Spectator magazine and we are very proud of it. What a pity that you gave is the highest marks in all the categories but the total score fell short of one point :) More

The stuff is so polite! The lady from the reception showed us few rooms we could pick from (all the rooms have different design). The breakfast was great! In fact the restaurant is famous for its high quality food and wine list! Check it out!

If you are looking for a more sophisticated restaurant in Plovdiv, this would be a good place to start. Food is fresh and well made, service is nice (a bit slow, but it is part of the French experience), and the prices are very good.

We went to Hebros after the free Plovdiv tour. As soon as we sat down the waiter brought us water and some appetizers to try out (very good), I then had a second course meal, eggplant filled with other vegetables and onions which was good. To top it all off the waiter brought us some fresh grapefruit sorbetto! The location... More

We had a couple of meals at Hebros Restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed both of them. The setting and environment were perfect: we sat in a lovely, quiet garden and were served by a polite, knowledgeable but friendly young lady. The menu includes mainly traditional Bulgarian dishes cooked to perfection: we especially loved the Tarator and Kyopolu, and is coupled with... More

Even though we had made a reservation, we sat at our table for at least half an hour, being deliberately ignored by the two waiters. We ended up eating at the Philipopolis, with friendly and efficient service and excellent food.

Dear madam, thank you for your review and feedback. I apologize on behalf of the team on duty for that particular evening. The reason they did not manage to service you the proper way was that the restaurant was busy at maximum capacity at the particular hour. You came almost half an hour earlier than your reservation and the waiter... More

I had a cucumber-yogurt soup and chili appetizers. The service was excellent and the food good. The air-conditioned restaurant was a relief from the heat outside. The house is quaint and nicely maintained. Very reasonable prices. Overall a very nice experience.

Very nice location and despite it is in old city, there is place for parking. It is close to many touristic attractions in old city of Plovdiv and in walking distance away from city center. The food was amazing. I tired lamb soup and lamb main course (it was that season...) and they were delicious. Prices are above average levels.

Interesting menu selections, Bulgarian and continental, with attentive service. Broad wine list with many modestly priced options. Food is quite good, included amuses, sorbets. Nice experience, even with a group of six men adjacent, drinking lots of vodka and having fun.

This is certainly the best restaurant in the Plovdiv (Philipoupoli) area. It is a small restaurant, (about 30 covers), but very romantic. The food is to die for, Uunlike some other places where is to...Die From..) Anyway, we dined there two nights running, not wanting to risk spoiling the experience somewhere else or wasting the opportunity. Both times the food... More
