Small restaurant with outside tables looking out onto famous old bridge in Mostar. We had lunch of salad and chips. Also plenty of meat dishes on menu and fish. Food was okay, service good and prices cheap. Not very many tables and place is used by small tour groups so it is likely you may have to share a table.

not to mention the fact that the prices are reasonable and the service is excellent. I've been to Mostar 3 times and I always come back to Teatar. I'm sure there will be a 4th time.

We were on our way to the old bridge and hungry too. Normally we do not respond to people ushing us into restaurants, but here it actually proved worth while. My wifes trout was well prepared, and I enjoyed Bosnian cevapi (mince meat sausages). Both with ordinary french fries. What raises this review from 3 to 4 is the lovely... More

Must be the best location in town, perched on the banks of the Buna overlooking the famous Mostar Bridge. Food was fresh, local and perfectly cooked and served by humerous friendly staff, a wonderful taste of Bosnia.

If looking from the other side of the river this is probably the least picturesque restaurant there- but this means that you have fine views of the surrounding pretty dining terraces. The drinks were good and they had a decent variety. Good prices and decent service. We just drank and ate french-fries, but they were hot and good with what... More

We had just parked up in Mostar when we were quickly jumped out at by a very very over eager man saying how Teatar was the best place to eat but nobody can find it. At first whilst he was leading us into this courtyard and over a bridge and talking non stop we thought he was showing us a... More

Dissaponting experience. Food was bland and generally just ok. The best bit was the cucumber in the mixed salad. Depiste there only being 5 tables of diners the waiter took so long to clear another table they had to find him to pay, meanwhile a cat helped himself to their leftovers. Great view of the bridge though, so perhaps worth... More

Location with the view on old bridge (see picture) is magnificent. However, the cats around the table, the second course served already when first was not finished and the cheap ingredients on the table did not meet expectation. I think the neighbours restaurant (one place more stream-upwards) looks like a better cuisine and more atmosphere from the cuisine, instead of... More

This place has good location. Down teraces are looking at the other side of town and to Old Bridge. It is very nice. Food was ok but nothing spectacular. Baklava at the end was maybe the best part. This place is worth visiting at least due to position.

This is a great restaurant for views. It is situated overlooking the river gorge that runs through Mostar and has a terrific view of the famous bridge. The food and wines are local. I tried the mixed grill, which was generous in proportions and very tasty. To find the restaurant you have to turn off to the left just before... More
