I like it so much

So nice atmosphere here!! I didn't want to go from the restaurant. We have been at once but in summer want to return. In the center of old town in Kotor. Not cheap but dishes huge and very tasty

Ate prosciutto all over Croatia and Montenegro, and loved it all, but this restaurant served THE best I have every had, even Italian prosciutto. The deep smokey flavor, and very little fat...scrumptious! Also, enjoy the local cheese, and some amazing local wines. Also, the waiter brought out several fresh fish, I mean pulled from the sea a few hours before,... More

When we asked a local guide where to eat she directed us to this place. The terrace looked a bit tired, but we trusted her and sat down for spaghetti and some pork and pommes frites. The spaghetti-meal was very good, but the pork was just "average"- and too much. The toilet was average. In many places in Croatia and... More

Nice old place with large outdoor terrace. I chose the stroganoff which was delicious. My husband however was disappointed with his t-bone and mushroom sauce. The sauce was very creamy and poured all over the streak which made it difficult to see where the fat was. Would've been better if the sauce had been served in a jug so it... More

After a long drive from Dubrovnik we finally got parked a strolled into the old town of kotar where this lovely restaurant is located. I had the carbonara which was lovely and it wasn't badly priced either at €6.00 Another thumbs up from me 👍

It was a very friendly serving! The soup picking was extraordinary! Try It ;) we went there after we climbed the fortress and it was absolutely enough!

We've stopped here for dinner after wandering around Kotor. The outdoor seating is perfcet, the atmosphere in this lovely square in the middle of Kotor is perfect! They have a wide selection of sea food, I've ordered beefsteak Scala Santa but the dish was nothing special really. The beefsteak was ok, but the portion of the meat was too big... More

A wander through the medieval town of Kotor culminates with a pleasant lunch under the awnings in a small picturesque square. The Scala Santa provided us with simply prepared good food. The salad was fresh and well dressed, the fish was presented for choice and grilled to perfection. A suitable white wine completed the meal. In short, a well cooked,... More

Visited in pre-season. Grilled sea bass was gorgeous, one of the best I have had. Service was mediocre, but overall a nice experience.

Four of us were walking around the Old City in the rain. We spotted the Konoba Scala Santa and ducked into the small door that led down the stairs to a basement. It was so unusual and charming. I cannot rate the food because we all just had Cappuccino while we waited for the rain to subside. There is "stuff"... More
