After a week in Dubrovnik we arived in Kotor for 5 day stay. Since we got here around lunch time we set off to find a bite to eat. Random pick as we hadn't read any reviews. Overall quite pleased. Service was prompt even with all the tables full. Beer cold and very good. We shared a very good... read more

Nicely situated in the old town, but overall a disappointing experience. After more than 30 minute wait, the fish soup, ordered as a starter hadn't arrived when the main courses appeared. The Sword fish ordered seemed to be tuna, and not a particularly tasty or well prepared one. The octopus was pleasant. I'm sure there are better places to find... More

Good location away from tourist central. Draught beer available. Friendly staff. Good for people watching. Good selection of fish meals, as does everywhere in Kotor. Usually have football on TV!

Our guide and driver recommended this place. I've heard from other guests sitting behind us that they were also told by their guides that "this was the place to visit". As one of few in Kotor it was completely full. Food was ok, nothing more. Spaghetti all'olio was really 50/50 oil and spaghetti. Greek salad was nice, but you can... More

Good service, good food, wifi, what more can you ask more? Go for the sea food, it is particularly exquisite. The quality of the food is good, and appeared to be fresh. Tried the local cheese here, which was awesome. Would gladly return here.

I was in Kotor with my wife on 17.06.2015. After a walk around the old town and checking on the menus of restaurants, we decided on Scala Santa. Both waiters were so kind and cheerful. Four or five other couples also joined the tables outside. Inside were two young people eating alone. On the inside decoration is quite fascinating, old... More

We came to this restaurant on the recommendation of our hotel Vardar. It's located in a cozy square, next to the entrance of 1300 steps to the Castle of St. Giovanni. We came here twice, and the service is good, friendly and relaxed, but some dishes hit the spot and others not. Let's start with the great ones, I had... More

Even in a city as small as Kotor you can expect that the restaurants in the middle of the ancient quarter can be a bit over-priced. In this case the food was also substandard. We had grown used to excellent food both meat and fish and were keen to try the specials here. In the event the tuna steak was... More

I think this could be a decent place. But if you picked the wrong dish to order, you're doom. But how can a restaurant miss the target so much? I had mixed platter since. I would like to try seafood but cant order too much since im a solo traveller. The fish was not fresh, the prawns were from at... More

I ate there in the summer and had the fishplate of the day. I felt something odd with one of the parts I was given but ate it all anyway because I was hungry. Not only were the prices very high, but I became very sick about one hour later. I had to go vomit because I was having some... More
