Restaurant for a "great" satisfaction

The restaurant is very close to the city center and it is best reached on foot. I would definitely recommend to try local specialties. The cozy atmosphere and good staff will make lunch or dinner very pleasant. Really nice place.

The restaurant is comfy & has great food and awesome waiters. Helpful, friendly & professional. Food & wine are from the area & traditional. The presentation wonderful. There is also outside service. We also stayed at the Veliki Hotel. The value of both the Restaurant & Hotel - Great!

A wonderful meal with a variety of dishes and drinks. All with excellent service. A wonderful place to enjoy excellent food. Portion sizes are huge so come hungry or ask for half portions. The fried goat cheese starter was delicious and is highly recommended.

On the advice of our B&B, we had dinner at the Café Veliki and thought it was very good. I had seared chicken breasts with vegetables (onion, carrot, zucchini, eggplant, mushroom) and a potato. It was excellent. My wife had the beef stew and dumplings and that was very good as well (the dumplings were great!), Washed down by a... More

Veliki was still #1 on Trip Advisor when we visited and boy we weren't disappointed. They catered perfectly to my vegetarian friend and my inner meatlover was amazed by their meat platter for two (which I barely managed to finish on my own). The service was great and the facilities were very clean and proper. Amazing price/quality balance and highly... More

We went to this restaurant as a result of Tripadvisor reviews and we were not disappointed. It was beyond expectations. Waiter was incredibly friendly and explained the local dishes to us. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend it.

They offer a great variety of traditional Vojvodinian meals, some of them almost forgotten now, like some dishes and deserts that my grandmother used to cook for me. But there is also a selection of international dishes. I recommend salads, they are delicious. The staff is very friendly and excellent at their... More
