Great view over the square in fornt of the Opera House. The food is delicious but the portions is way to smal to get satiated. The staff is really nice and helpfull.
I ate here three times during a several-day stay at the hotel above which it sits. Each time, the quality of the food was excellent. Well prepared and beautifully presented. The service is attentive, although often very slow, and professional- although they failed to intervene when a group of drunken diners began to disturb others on one isolated occasion. The... More
The food here is excellent and the views of the Old Town are indeed impressive. Service is a little slow but not excessively so. We ate there a few times and enjoyed ourselves except for one evening when some very loud and drunk guests were making a nuisance of themselves for a while and the staff seemed reluctant to deal... Some other reviews have commented on Panaroma's food as "uninspired" or "average." I have a hunch these reviewers have not spent nearly as much time dining in Ukraine as I have (over a year). Both times dining here I and my partner were very, very impressed - to the point of complimenting the chef - with the largely French-inspired food.... More
I recently ate lunch with a group of friends at this rather formal restaurant located in the Opera Hotel where we were staying. The good service was very European and "correct" by uniformed staff. We occupied the only table taken in the restaurant for most of the meal. Most of what was served to us was just average, but the... More
I took a group here for a business dinner. The restaurant ambience is excellent, with great views of the city. It doesn't seem to be popular since it was empty except for us and another couple. The food was ok, not spectacular. They messed up my order but not a big deal. The problem came when we received the check.... More
Great Food and service. The view is what makes this dining experience special. The menu has traditional Ukraine items as well as assorted entrees. Highly recommend on your visit to Lviv
I booked a table at panorama for an early dinner during my stay in Lviv during Euro 2012. My buddies went with steak while i had goose breast. The food was a little uninspired and the service was average. The view of the Opera house and Prospekt Svobody was nice, though.
Our second time at Panorama confirmed what we experienced the first time: terrific views, nice atmosphere, very good service (Ukrainian or English speaking) and excellent quality food for the price. (Higher than average, but the food is better than average.) Had the borsht twice and it's the best I've had in Ukraine -- rich broth, not too greasy. Nice risottos... More
