We went to this restaurant for our last night in Zadar and were not disappointed. The service is brillant ("you don't know what to choose between the prosciutto and the cheese ? we can serve both to you in half portions"), the food excellent (octopus salad !! desserts too, we took another one just because it was so delicious, and... We very much enjoyed eating here. The staff was friendly, which can't always be expected in Croatia. They recommended a number of dishes based on asparagus as it was in season. The food was excellent but what really earned them this good review was the fantastic homemade pies. Try the chocolate pistachio. You won't be disappointed!

checked out the menu at lunchtime, whilst trying out a few glasses of local sauvignon blanc.made a booking for the evening.clearly a quality option without 'rip off' prices.very high standard service, great pinot noir.staff seemed genuinely keen to ensure i enjoyed my time there.

The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were a good size. The wine list featured numerous Crotian Wines and were excellent. It is not a big restaurant, but the service was excellent. Throughly enjoyed our meal here

This is a real treat of a restaurant. The food was a blissful surprise of quality that you seldom see in world capitals served with a friendly and helpful staff. The meat is unreal, aged, excellent quality and most probably the best veal cutlet that I have ever eaten in my life. The fried potatoes are hedonism incarnate and polish... More

By accident rather we had a late lunch - early dinner at the Kalelarga and were surprised by the quality of the food. Not to mention the meat - best veal ever was my partners statement - but I am a vegetable lover and I was a 100% satisfied! And Tomoslav is a very competent and adorable person! We will... More

I was there with my girlfriend this summer and we ate a full dinner. When we had been shown to a table we got a starter recomended for us, which was great! You could choose whether to sit inside the modern and very stylish restaurant or enjoy the evening in a cosy area outside! I have to give the personal... More

Against our rule, not to go to hotel restaurants and even less so to a restaurant in a hotel we are staying, we tried this new place, as we liked already the rooms. In contrast to any other tourist place we've visited in Croatia, this restaurant very positively distinguishes itself. It truly aspires to serve above average quality and also... More

Everything was perfect : the meat, the starters, the wine, the dessert and, of course, the advise of the waiter. The food and wine are local, and very delicate.
