Description: The members of the Pavin family explain their lifelong successful tradition...
The members of the Pavin family explain their lifelong successful tradition with the motto: "Our guests feel at home here and the meals we serve them are the ones we would prepare for us." The Niko Restaurant is situated just 3,5 km from the town centre, in the picturesque location known as Puntamika. It is surrounded by the sea, soft flowing winds, with the panoramic View of our 3,000 years old town of Zadar, the town with rich historical background and numerous cultural and historical monuments and museums. The restaurant has seating for 150 people. Its cuisine is based on the fish and the house specialities are scampi, fish (which our guests choose themselves from an abundant fresh selection) and lobsters from our own aquarium. Not only the pleasant atmosphere and the world class cuisine are meritorious for the overall enjoyment you will experience at Niko's, the credit also goes to the klapa Niko (choir) founded by the owner himself.

Classy, good service.

The restaurant is opposite the pebble beach in Puntamika and has parking at the front but there are places opposite along the beach front too. The entrance is at the side as the front is given over to large windows that open fully to appreciate the sea-view. It is now run by Nico's son who... read more

Was recommended this restaurant but found it was more expensive and not as tasty as restaurants in the old town. Also felt that people who were staying at their hotel were more important than those coming in off the street!

I'm very familiar with this restaurant and even though the food and service is very good, the ambiance is not. First, this is a pet friendly restaurant so there is nothing better than trying to enjoy a nice, somewhat expensive dinner while dogs are barking next to you and have that lovely I just swam in the ocean smell. The... More

We stayed at the Hotel Niko and had dinner at the restaurant. The atmosphere is very nice, overlooking the sea and great service. I ate a tasty dish with seafood and my husband ate meat and vegetables. Both dishes were very tasty.

We visited the Restaurant Niko in Puntamika, Zadar, Croatia for dinner. It is not the cheapest option but the food was absolutely outstanding. We went in and booked early in the afternoon as we were told it is quite popular. We met a wonderful waiter named Josef who promised to seat us at the window with beautiful views across the... More

The best restaurant we ate at in a week in Croatia. Wonderful scampi appetizer followed by a very fresh orata perfectly cooked. Great wait staff, very friendly and helpful. Very nice wine list and cheap for this kind of meal. I plan on returning.

Lovely restaurant with superb food and very attentive staff who will make recommendations about food on offer or do you something off the menu which you like , nothing is too much trouble and they will give you a taster if you want to see if you like it. We had the fish platter and could not decide on deserts... More

We had a good dinner: the first plate were different startes like carpaccio of Tuna, mousse of tuna 2 types of calamari salad and rocket with crabs. The main course were fresh fish backed in an oven with vegetables - very good ! As dessert they served as well a nice selection where the Tiramisu was brilliant, the creme caramel... More

We ate here whilst staying in the hotel. It serves wonderful seafood - not the cheapest but very very good. The staff are helpful and friendly. If you want a table by the window for the views it is best to book in advance.

Had dinner and the deco/atmosphere is wonderful. Away from Old Town in what appears to be a nice hotel across from the marina. Staff is very enthusiastic with lots of suggestion. My husband had octopus salad and local swisschard/potato dish which he raved about. On the other hand, I had fish stew (tasted like chicken broth with rice and a... More
