The members of the Pavin family explain their lifelong successful tradition with the motto: "Our guests feel at home here and the meals we serve them are the ones we would prepare for us." The Niko Restaurant is situated just 3,5 km from the town centre, in the picturesque location known as Puntamika. It is surrounded by the sea, soft flowing winds, with the panoramic View of our 3,000 years old town of Zadar, the town with rich historical background and numerous cultural and historical monuments and museums. The restaurant has seating for 150 people. Its cuisine is based on the fish and the house specialities are scampi, fish (which our guests choose themselves from an abundant fresh selection) and lobsters from our own aquarium. Not only the pleasant atmosphere and the world class cuisine are meritorious for the overall enjoyment you will experience at Niko's, the credit also goes to the klapa Niko (choir) founded by the owner himself.

Good soup, decent fish plate, good desserts, good service

Staff were very helpful throughout and moved us to a window table without us even asking. The fish soup and scampi risotto starters were very good. The fish plate was decent overall. However my squid seemed a little over done, although my girlfriend said hers was excellent. A couple of the mussels... read more

My husband and I visited the restaurant Niko after it was recommended by the owner of the hotel we stayed in. Everything about this restaurant was just perfect. The decor is very up market and even the bathrooms were really posh! The service was second to none. The waitress knew her menu and recommend some really nice local wine from... More

The Nikon hotel has a very fancy looking restaurant. The service is excellent and but I did expect much more from the food quality. In the menu they offer exactly The same dishes at all of the restaurants that we Visited on this trip. No thing new and nothing special.

Our family checked in to the hotel a bit late as we were just passing through for the night. We thought we would just eat at the hotel restaurant because it was convenient. The menu seemed like the same old same old, but the waiter provided such great service and suggestions for food and wine that it turned out to... More

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel. The food was not cheap but outstanding. The service was excellent and the view of the water is very pleasant. Their specialty is local fish dishes.

The staff and the service is great, the food is perfect and delicious. The prices is a bit over average than other restaurants in Zadar, but it is definitely worth it. It is a experience of a Lifetime, and you will not regret to be served a meal in this restaurant.

My wife loves seafood. I like it too, but she lives for seafood. We have been in Zadar for a week and have eaten the seafood platter every day. This was by far the best, and definitely NOT the most expensive. The staff was amazing. The waiter was like part of an animation team. Our kids loved playing with him... More

Although I was dissapointed with the service when I visited this restautant a couple years ago, my experience was much better this time. Service was really friendly and they offer really good, fresh fish. For sure one of the best places in Zadar if you're into fish.
