Restaurant Ribarska Koliba (Fisherman's Hut) - the Sleeping Beauty has awaken after a hundred year's sleep and has become a favourite destination for lovers of gastronomy and fine wines. Surrounded by pine woods on one side and the crystal blue waters of the Adriatic from the other, Ribarska Koliba is something of a refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city. The roof of the restaurant has been transformed into a Lounge Bar with magnificent views of the marina and Verudela Bay. In the evening it's a place to gather with friends, sample the wonderful choice of cocktails, enjoy live music and so much more.

This is a very nice restaurant. The location is situated overlooking a marina. Their menu is limited, but nice. The help staff were very friendly and spoke English very well.

Not a bad place to try if you want to overlook the marina area, it is quite nice to look at. The food is expensive for the area and service was just average. Nothing special here, with exception to the view, other than that, there are plenty of other sea food places down town for better prices and service. If... More

The place has good atmosphere, good service and great food, but is a little on the pricey side. I had grilled fresh fish (Sea Bass) it was excellent. We had some excellent Istrian wine. The place was packed the night we were there, but service did not suffer.

We had really high hopes for this restaurant. It was our last night in Istria and we wanted a nice dinner. This was probably the worst meal we had in 4 weeks for travelling through Europe. We were the only ones in the dining room aside from a couple families celebrating a special occasion, and letting their screaming 3-4 year... More

I've been to Ribarska Koliba several times in past few years. Despite the fact that it was always busy there, the food and service was quite good. They have big Adriatic squids which are delicious, as well as fresh fish, of which I would specially recommend seabass. The view from the venue is beautiful, we were always situated by the... More

We went here on our last night in Istria for a celebratory dinner...and wish we hadn't. Even McDonalds would have been better. After over an hour there was still no sign of our orders...when asked the waiter said - but you ordered 10 different things!! We were only 7 at the table and three were children so not quite sure... Well located restaurant with nice marina view. We tasted fish soup, minestrone soup, pene with smoked tuna. Everything was beyond our expectations. Also don't miss the fresh fish plate. Malvazia (withe wine) is the best I have ever tested in Histria. If you go there with little kids they will propose multicolored pencils and so on.
